  • Dear SquareEnix,

Whoever thought that NOT adding a "low shadows" option in Life is Strange: Double Exposure was a good idea, needs to be slapped!

    Sincerely,
    A Frustrated Customer 🤬

@The Catboy I tried to get a whole "thing" going and basically got laughed out of r/SteamDeck 🤦🏾‍♂️. Even tried to get Steam Support to understand my use case twice and both times they were rigid with their views. Honestly, I don't see why GameStop isn't asking publishers to do this with their PC games.

GameStop doesn't want this because they make their money on used sales and you can't sell these used.

True but at this rate there won't be any used product left if everything goes digital. Are PS5 and XBox Series games complete on disc these days? Some foot traffic would be better than none. Even Target sells Switch digital games on scratch cards just for the traffic. It just sucks that physical gaming is in such a sorry state 😔.
Steam support is starting to suck 🤦🏾‍♂️.

I agree with you. That's why I stopped give my money to Steam. GOG is my favorite over Steam an others right now. I paid GOG to get more games than Steam. If what internet go black outages then people would get very angry on Steam in near future is creepy. I love GOG a lot because of no internet required to play any games are great for us and people. ;)

I'm happy that GOG exist but my eggs are in the Steam basket for now. My major issue is the way they treat Steam Deck users like myself that have decided to move away from Steam OS and use Windows, Just because we don't use the recommended OS, it doesn't meant that our issues with their client are not valid. 🤬

GOG is indeed great, so great that I'm still thinking about buying a portable SSD just to put there the games i have in my account, for the sake of keep them "physically" saved
Just a few more hours (because Steam) and ⚡"It's Morphin Time!" ⚡ Can't effin' wait!!!😍 Oh wait, it's a holiday present. Oh well, I can at least install it, finally 🤪🤣

Now the Hasbro years were an improvement! Cosmic Fury and RPM are tied for my #1 spot. Once and Always was a fun trip down memory lane and Beast Morphers was the RPM sequel I wanted. It was short lived but I appreciated those years.

@Xdqwerty I was a bit more fond of the Genesis games. They were closer to the source material and the female rangers weren't just the guys with a color swap 🤣
New gaming pet peeve: publishers that place the wrong storage requirement on their game's Steam page. "I'm looking at you Lollipop Chainsaw: RePop" 🤬

They probably didnt properly playtest their own game

Probably true. The game had many issues after release. I hope it doesn't discourage the developer from making a sequel.
39.5 years. The halfway point is practically here. Some people are lucky enough to say their best years were behind. Some are lucky enough to look forward to better years. I'm stuck wondering if the BS will end in a blaze or "blaze of glory".
Human connectivity is dead. If it's not dead yet then it's starting to become a lost art.

I do miss the times when talking with strangers outside in public, on public transport, in taxis (although I never use those) and etc. was much more common and normal. I think smartphones (or even mobile phones in general) were a huge contributor to this change. Now people just prefer to stare into their portable screens, or use them for telecommunication with people they actually know.

Although obviously paper books have been a thing for a very long time too.

I think it'll hit a point where everyone wants to go back to real life interaction. Then wait for the next technology to take over people's attention, and the cycle repeats.
Found a fan made Nintendo Direct that's actually really good. I like this idea of fan Directs feat. gameplay and trailers from lesser known games! So many games go direct to store with no fanfare. This is a good idea!

@bonkmaykr This aged all too well. Just noticed that the channel was terminated due to multiple copyright claims.
