I'm an introvert. Opening up to people is hard enough but these days it feels like everyone hates each other and comes up with arbitrary rules before one can engage in conversation. It's sad.
I miss the days of "hey, we both like this hobby, let's talk about it". Now it's you need XYZ before you can make a post. Luckily that nonsense hasn't hit GBATemp yet ....yet.
Human connectivity is not dead, it has just changed. People on the street or bus will never speak, but go to clubs in uni, volunteer, go to small festivals, go to a bar, etc. There are many people out there who love a good conversation. You just have to seek them out.
Everyone also does not "hate" each other. I used to think so but getting out in the community really showed me that there is so much love for each other. Go out to some volunteer place working towards a common goal and you will see the togetherness. It's hard to show that feeling anywhere else (at least for me).
