    I also prefer this one (which inspired a SNES racing game) and other older titles in the series. Few know that americans copied this series from the original japanese Himitsu Sentai Gorenger (characters present in the psx game Super Takusatsu Taisen 2001). 🧐

    Yeah, Randy's always been full of bad takes - thinking Colonial Marines was a good game reviewed harshly because it "didn't meet players' expectations", this, the Borderlands movie, and more I've forgotten. Oh, and I think there was an incident with a forgotten USB drive with porn on it, one time...

    As for Epic, I have no idea how well, or poorly, that garbage is going. It's definitely not overtaken Steam, though, and not likely to in the remaining 5/10 years; just too feature-poor and customer-unfriendly to be a real threat. It is good that they've stopped doing exclusivity purchases, though, afaik.

    Epic started it. The shit they said about Steam. They go make their own PC store only to lose millions, giving away games, now look at them. Can't even keep their own game exclusive. People complain about devs having to pay a 30% fee to the platform. That fee exists for a reason. There are so many features provided on Steam, people use but don't think twice about how it's all funded.

    Nitpicking mode on: Piracy (copyright infringement) is not stealing since it doesn't take something physically away which is missing for the legitimate owner afterwards.

    That is the reason for copyright or intellectual property to exist - to create something analog to the concept of physical property.

    Nevertheless piracy is still illegal and not a human right.

    Biggest problem with the Switch. A lot of physical games are released on it with little to no advertising. There's a Totally Spies game releasing in November and I just happened to find out via browsing Amazon. WTF?!

    An entire section of the eShop was strictly for themes, and there were plenty of third-party ones up for sale. Why not bring this money-maker over to Switch‽ Sure, the themes were cheap, but that adds up considering the millions of units sold and stuff. Why leave out this profit source? Sometimes Nintendo really seems braindead.

    The entire Switch UI needs help. I HATE it! I hate the lack of music. I hate the lack of animated icons. I HATE the lack of joyful Nintendo feels. It's not perfect but you can have animated banners on Steam. I don't see how that's too much for the Switch. At minimum, at least make the icon at the front of the line, animated so that it stands out.

    Wii motion controls require the player to add a little imagination power 🌈. Without it, you just feel like you're swinging your arms around for no good reason.

    What I mean is, my Wii never detected my movements correctly - maybe I had a dysfunctional motion sensor or something, but no matter what Wiimote I used or how I placed the sensor bar or myself, it never read my movements correctly.

    Nobody in my house plays online (on Switch), we don't need Nintendo's collection of ROMS as we're not dumb enough to toss away old consoles and I simply don't have friends that want to play any Switch games online. It feels like a waste but I know life will screw me and then suddenly someone will ask me to play with them 🤪

    I'd rather DOA triple and quadruple down on the waifu elements. Hell, just make it the ultimate crossover game for all fighting game waifus and crossover with any company they can. Honestly, do we really need the guys in the next DOA? Just loan them off to other fighting games. It's a win win for everyone.

    Yes but Xtreme 3 is volleyball and there are no crossover characters. The next DOA should be like SNK Heroines but with more crossover appeal.

    I HATE when YouTubers "Review" a low end device. They never attempt to really push the damn thing, they just assume "low end = XBox 360 era games" and call it a day. It's fucking lazy!

    It's not all of what makes good content but it does help to be fair. I could've enjoyed Elden Ring at 480p/30fps (I enjoyed Monster Hunter World at similar numbers) but having it in 1440p/4K 60fps just gave it a wow factor that you wouldn't get at low fidelity.
