@AncientBoi I have a feeling Nintendo would have been close with the ill fated Wii Vitality Sensor.

so many people complain about skyward sword but I actually loved that game

To me they're absolutely ideal as supplementary controls alongside traditional aiming or camera controls. I adore motion aiming in the Zelda games, and both Splatoon and even something like Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet on the Switch does it well. It's a shame it's not that common on PC.

Half the internet disagrees

Popularity contests don't make something right or wrong, opinion is just that

Look at how many people vote for objectively bad things

Exactly! Half of the Internet may disagree with me but most people talk about how much they wish Star Trek's holodeck was real. They fail to realize that the holodeck requires them to get off their ass. If people are too lazy to get off their ass for motion gaming then they dont deserve the holodeck.

Hmmmmmmm.... I am not sure if I love motion controls or not.
What I can say is that I really enjoyed the Wii back in the day.
When everything was made around motion controls you could get terrible misses or great hits. And I liked the hits, it was immersive in a way.
But then again getting repetitive motion injuries just by swinging your sword like an idiot in TLOZ:TP was not much fun, that part at least.

That's why SS was fun, the slices and direction were actually meaningful

@x65943 if I wasn't busy playing BOTW, I would happily start up Skyward Sword again 😍
