The c stick is not great, only 3 shoulder buttons, only one central button - a pretty subpar dpad not actually practical for platformers

Trying to play modern games on the thing is rough

@x65943 they sell GameCube styled Switch Pro Controllers lol. They're great for modern games.

i love my battlerGC controller. it's like a dualshock and a gamecube controller mated and had the perfectly genetically modified offspring. also. sega genesis controller > snes

@Chary that's the GC pad from Retro Fighters with the PlayStation styled parallel sticks, right?

It's the one in the Xbox config asymmetrical style, I think, but yep! Pretty sure they make a PS layout one as well tho

Yeah the Brawler/Battler duo. They're interesting but we're lacking features if I remember correctly. These days I'm all about the NIXY Warrior. Just wished they made a companion PC app.

@x65943 it's more about the face button layout and it's really is superior. Using the same style controller for GameCube, Wii U, Switch and PC has been blissful.

I like that layout too but not really sure making one button way bigger is necessarily a good thing

I wonder if anyone ever did head to head competition for accuracy/speed
