    Hmmm.... I agree with myself, it is kind of hot today... I wonder when will Germany reach the bronze age or something and invent the air conditioner.

    Mobile ACs are sold out right now because people like to panic and pay insane prices in stress situations. A big hose going out of the window while you try to cover all openings around it to prevent hot air from flowing right back in. One neighbor now has one. They bought a styrofoam plate with a hole for the hose and put it in the window. Then remove it a few hours later again. Several times a day. WTF?

    In the past AC wasn't needed in Germany for private houses. It took about a whole week for the dreadful heat to make my house unbearably hot.
    Having a *real* air conditioning system installed in the house would be prohibitively expensive because it would require extensive structural work --> idea dismissed.

    Yeah, I don't like the idea of the portable air conditioner. If I had a house of my own I would sure install the real one though, a small split one just in my bedroom so I can sleep. I haven't been able to sleep properly for more almost 2 weeks already, and it's making me a zombie.

    The Steam Deck is so good... I just wish they release a lighter (maybe smaller) version.

    After a long time I took my old release day 512GB LCD Steam Deck to play on it again (I was mostly playing on PC and some Switch 2 on the go)... Well, mostly as I remembered, the Steam Deck is a damn great portable, the OS is great... the only "annoyance" is that it is too big and heavy. I would buy a smaller/lighter version, even if "power" and "battery life" were (somewhat) compromised.

    Oooof... personally, the weight is the one reason I don't like it overall, at least its touchpads are an outstanding feature

    I guess I will go fetch my copy of Metroid Prime 4 in a couple of hours, but I have this hunch that I will be extremely disappointing in the game I've been waiting for almost a decade.

    Hahaha, I had high expectations for Duke Nukem Forever. I was expecting something closer to Half-Life 2 in terms of quality and presentation. I learned my lesson.

    Are Half-Life 2 (6 years) and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (4 years) the only two games to live up to the hype?

    Also available in the Japanese Nintendo Switch eShop... I wonder when it will be available in the German one though. It's the whole prologue, the save carries to the complete game shall you buy it.

    Well, what they announced wasn't a Xenogears full game remake that preserves the essence but a Trails in the Sky FC one instead. And I am also very happy for this, very. But I am still waiting the Xenogears announcement...

    What about a Xenogears full remake? Please get it announced next week, a full endeavor that changes the game completely while keeping its essence intact. I'll be waiting. 🤣

    Man, sometimes burnout hits you hard. I feel like shit, kind of wishing I could go to sleep and not wake up for days, until somehow for reasons unknown I just feel better.
