I think the author mainly criticizes complaining internally, in the mind, brooding, not with other people.
On complaining to others, but rationally, constructively, I fully agree...

...As for me, I don't entirely agree here : "leave the situation or accept it."
I would have rather said, "take action to change the situation; if you can't, accept it and think no more about it." Hard to reason in generalities. You need a concrete example.

"Hard to reason in generalities. You need a concrete example."
That is what makes short statements on complex topics so problematic. The quote is not outright wrong, just missing context. Complaining, speaking out can be good and helpful, useless or counterproductive depending on the example.
Shocking. My neighbor passed out in the yard. We tried to help him. To no avail. Stroke. R.I.P. No one was ready. A warning to all.

I truly hope the neighbour's family, you, and the rest of the neighbourhood are doing well after that awful shock.

Thank you. We have to deal with it. Almost one person a year dies in my yard. Mine is a country of old people. Our destiny is extinction.

...and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived...I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life...to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to its lowest terms..." I am not enjoying this remix of the bare necessities.

"Bare necessities" are at the core and nodal point of human existence. Sooner or later we will return to these, like it or not ... others, however, will be lost among their toys, until the end.

We can discuss it in PM if you like, but for now I have to leave my computer (has nothing to do with the topic)

Changing name, changing image, will do little good:ghosts of the past, inner demons, will chase you, like a shadow. Other change is needed.

The Greeks knew this well. The word personality comes from the Greek word persona, which is also a word we use to describe the character perceived by others. In Greek dramas they would use masks, and their voice comes through the mask, hence "sona" which means sound, "per" for through the mask comes "sona" or sound, persona.

Very good. Something not many western people know either. But it comes from Latin, the language of my ancestors; this is coming from someone who reads it and can translate it directly into English. The Greeks used πρόσωπον (prosopon).

Ah I see, prosopon also means mask. According to some more searching, the Latin word's origin is unclear and the Greek word was also there around that time, but I guess they're all very similar in meaning.

Hi. I'm back. Cloudflare prevented me from returning. Only now, after 10minutes of browser checking, did it let me in. I missed you guys...

@shaunj66, I don't know exactly what a vpn is. I connected normally, as usual, but now (who knows why) for no apparent reason, it let me access here. I am flattered. Thanks for your interest. I don't deserve so much.

If I disconnect the smartphone from the internet, and then turn it back on, again Cloudflare checks the browser for a few minutes. Someone had told me that the check happens once and then that's it. He was wrong. I'm afraid my issue will happen again.
Continued connection issues. Is it a stunt by someone who doesn't like my presence? This will be my last message. Someone will rejoice.
