hello comunity

Short story for my self, I am new to the PSTV homebrew scene, but I am not new for generally homebrew for other consoles like PS2/3 or Wii. The only reason for me to have a hacked PSTV are all the PC ports. My first tests are Shadow Warrior and Blake Stone. Since this is homebrew nothing is perfect. This ports has some errors and I want to report this into this forum, so it can maybe help other members. I had not found many information on google about this. Maybe the coders are here and will read it.

Shadow Warrior :

1 - Save File error (3) + Fix

The save file for self is working, the same like on the PC version. But when you save and go back to the gameplay, the Analog sticks do not work anymore. To fix this problem, you must close the game and open it again and load the game again from the last save file point. Its not a big deal, but not good to close and open all again.

Second save file error, you MUST give the save file a 'Name'. When you save without give it a name, the save file will be broken and do not work anymore. There is no Fix, otherwise giving a save-file-name.

Third save file error, when you load back your game the music is missing. Fix, just open shortly the music option menu and go out, the music will play again.

2 - MAP option crash

I had change the buttons on the PS3 controller and this is full working (its a bit the same like the Duke Nukem 3D port for the Wii). But the MAP option do not good work. You can open the MAP and all is good. But when you walk plus open the Map the game will crash. Fix = do not open the Map.

3 - Analog sensitive for Lock Up and Down is to high - No Fix, its a bug in the option (same like in DN3D on the Wii Port)

Blake Stone mistake - no Fix
(testing the Demo)

The game is full and perfect playable. But when you want to exit the level, you must go into a elevator. In the elevator you must press on the PC keyboard the number from 1-0 for the next Floor. I am use PS3 controller and there is no virtuelly keyboard to press the right floor number to exit the level. In this fact perfect playable and in the same way NOT you can not exit the floor.

Shadow Warrior testing :

The complete first Episode was working on easy difficulty and there was no crash or any freeze. Many thanks to the coder Rinnegatamante for his great work. I am now on Episode 2 in the half of them. Also try a little bit on hardest difficulty. Very good work. Some little texture bugs here and there but fully playable. The save problem is still the only problem so far.

! I had also try out Wanton Destruction DLC, there is a problem. I was on level 4, after complete the map to the exit the game has warp me back to level 7 of the normal Shadow Warrior game and was close the DLC, game was still working. Will test this later again.

EDIT:
I have done Shadow Warrior the complete game episode 1 and 2 on easy difficulty.
All puzzles and riddles and doors with keys was full working, no crash or any freeze. Million thanks to the coder author, I love this port.
Next testing the Mission Pack DLC, there was a problem. Report later.

Blake Stone :

Its not possible to get any virtually keyboard running with PS3 controller. Elevator not working. I have no Fix for this.

Shadow Warrior DLC :

Playing it still in the same time with NBlood. So far I remember the DLC for SW has only a Ending when playing on 'hardest difficulty'. Do not use easy difficulty or you can not finish it. The last 2 Bosses are missing. Always forget this point, so good to mention it here.

I had play Wanton Destruction on easy difficulty and it was possible to play it to the end.
This port is use the gog fixed version. That means mostly all bugs are fixed and the mission pack can be done on any difficulty.
It was not mention in the coder information, so good to know. Also tested hardest difficulty and its possible without crashs.

shadow_warrior_series/wanton_destruction_fix

So as most of you know, Wanton Destruction has those issues where a miniboss and the final boss do not spawn on the first or second difficulties, and an issue where a secret can't be reached because it's too narrow to enter. Well, I went ahead and dusted off my Build skills and fixed those issues. The game now ought to be completable on any difficulty, and you should be able to get 100% completion without having to use any cheats. I also added two minibosses and one anime girl that were absent from the last level on the first two difficulties. The levels in question, if you want to see for yourself with the swtrek cheat, are numbered 09 (Skyscraper), 11 (Military Base), and 20 (Skyline)

This fix is in this .grp file. Give the old WT.GRP file in your Shadow Warrior directory a new name, like WTold.GRP, or move it to a back up folder or something, and copy the new WT.GRP file into the directory. Here's the link to the file: xxxxxxxx

Shadow Warrior :
I have the main game complete done on hardest difficulty, also testing some speedruning. Here the game will sometimes crash and there is also a bug in the secret level 22 where the last door will not open. The biggest problem is the Ghost Ninja with the heavy fire attack, this will mostly crash the game and give an error. So it need luck, load and save again. The bug in secret level 22 need also a lot of luck, just make a save file before enter this secret level, the exit door will sometimes not open. Level 19 has gave me save file error when doing this in the end in the water, save file was broken.
Hardest difficulty is not perfect working and gives a lot of errors, but it is possible from start to the end fully playable. yeah

Blake Stone :
The main game is still not working with PS3 controller. But the Mission Pack is working with PS3 controller, since there is no elevator. Super !

Tested : Twin Dragon Mission Pack (just over copy the twin dragon files with the main game)
Game was full playable from start to end on easy difficulty, no crash !

Tested : Shadow Warrior BETA version (0.90 Prototype)
The game start, but only the first map from episode 2 is playable after that it boot back to vita menu, we need a cheat menu for this one or Map selection option. The copy is unfinshed and can not load the next maps. The playable Map has some differences, Love it.
