PS1/2 Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal not working

I esr patched and burned Ratchet & Clank Up Your Arsenal and I always get a black screen (using Verbatim DVD-R discs). I have plenty of other burned games including other R&C games and they work perfectly fine. Does anyone know the issue?

It could just be an ESR thing. Have you checked the compatibility list to see if it is on there? I just loaded up my burned copy of it on a chipped system (not ESR patched) and it ran fine. Or it could be the ISO. CDRomance is really reliable for PS2 stuff. I also used Verbatim DVD-R.
