I Accidentally injected the Hekate payload without SD Card and the switch screen stayed black. At first I didn't care but TegraRCMGUI said No RCM and My switch was un-responsive to anything i did.
What do I do?

Hekate can be injected without SD Card...this is not a problem at all (you'll miss the graphic interface "Nyx" and some modules like minerva or sleep mode). If your Switch made a black screen when you injected the payload, it means it's not compatible with (software) hack and you need a modchip.

for your black screen :
  • Hold power button for at least 15 seconds
  • restart your console with Power button
  • done !

You should just be able to force the system to shut down and then turn it back on. I've done this a few times and I've found that just holding the power button for like 30 seconds to a minute (I don't really time it,) and then pressing it to turn it back on fixes it.

well, i i KNOW my switch isn't patched. i injected the fusee-test.bin payload and it said that my switch is hackable. and i had already ran hekate 3 times before then. that's what confused me.

then there might be something wrong when injecting the payload.

because you can inject hekate without any SD Card ;)

It looks like your method of entering RCM is faulty. How do you do it? Or do you use autoRCM? Anyway, you should turn off your Switch doing what's mentioned above. Then reboot normally, just to make sure everything is fine. Next, turn it off normally, and finally enter RCM with your jig. If you're using autoRCM, you'll get a black screen when you turn it on, so it's ready for payload injecting.

i use a screwdriver to short pin 9 and 10 to enter RCM. anyways, i already rebooted the switch and it was just that something wrong when injecting the payload like Badablek said

Make sure you install autoRCM before you screw up your pins with that screwdriver. :P

I did this same thing, and I think it keeps me from going on the internet even though im not using hekate or any homebrew files in my sd. How do I fix this?

Buddy, really buy a jig. That things are cheap as hell. Even to can buy a RCM loader and forget about damages and bad injections

--edit--
Wrong quote

Not interested! I don't need a jig. My joycon is modded. I know you quoted the wrong guy, just pulling your leg. :D
