Switch OS is 10.2, SX OS is 3.1 (last they released). Been work fine after repair (bad SD card reader). Never connects to the internet. Now when I boot using the dongle and jig for SX OS, I get the selection screen (Boot cusom FW, Boot original FW, Options) like always, but the touch screen is disabled (not responding to touch). The screen works fine under normal factory boot. Did Nintendo find a silent patch to disable, or did SX do some time related thing? While its never connected to the internet, we did play a few cartridge games, but never updated factory OS. Its still at 10.2. Any ideas?

As a matter of troubleshooting, delete SX OS from your SD card, redownload the latest version of SX OS, and boot into SX OS using your computer instead of the dongle. What happens?

What happens when you boot into Atmosphere instead?

What happens when you use a different SD card? It is possible your SD card is corrupted, particularly after perhaps being using with a system that had a bad SD reader.

I see your making multiple threads, that is severely frowned upon here just a word of advice Don't do it again
Sorry, the computer just sat there and never got a message it was posted, so hit the submit button again. I did not mean to make multiple threads. My apologies to the board. If there is a way to delete them please do so. I tried but could only find an edit button.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did re-format the card after the reader was replaced, and it worked great for about a month. Today when booting is the first time it exhibited this behavior. I will try your suggestions which I appreciate.

So then next time, don't press the button multiple times. Pressing it once is fine, the site gets a lot of traffic sometimes and slows down. Pressing it multiple times won't make the thread appear any faster.
