Gaming CoD DS crashes.

If you're using an R4 the Cod games need to be run without any R4 features running like quick reset.
Most likely, he is using an r4. So yeah, I suggest the same thing you said and if it doesnt work, you probably should just get the actual cart or play on an emulator.

You need to be clearer in your questions if you want more people to answer them.
Not everyone understands what the hell you mean by CoD (Call of Duty, I suppose).
Also, what flashcart do you have? It must be pretty old for it not to work. Try dual booting with YSMenu ( assuming it's compatible with yours) and using it to play that series.
