Is anyone else tired of the SX OS vs Atmosphere thread hijacks?

All that has been said in this thread is based on speculation. If a user asks for help with something step up and help don’t spread misinformation.

@lafleche do you work for SX OS and know something we don’t about continued support? @squee666 had some great counter points to your opinion that you choose to share and derail this community members thread with.

Come off it man! If you know for sure, have evidence to back it up, not just convoluted comparisons to other modchip manufacturers.

This community doesn’t need to be at war because one chooses differently than the other. We all want to enjoy what we have. Let the actual people who put hard work into allowing us to have this experience in the first place hash it out between themselves.

Back on topic:

@shinwg truth is mate no one knows, still too early to tell. The hope is people will receive support but it isn’t promised. You’re in the right place to find out though.

Check out this guide for post modchip install:

https://gbatemp.net/threads/sx-core-mariko-what-to-do-next-post-install-guide-for-newbies.570657/

If you mean transferring saves from Sysnand to Emunand there is no need. Emunand will recreate those as it is a copy of your original Sysnand. Hope that makes sense.

Good luck!

Maybe its the time now for someone experienced (like rebug etc) to make an open source implementation of the SX Core/Lite chips - but then still (from what my limited understanding of these chips is) the effort for building one at home is HUGE (esp. because flashing FPGA usually required additional HW) compared to just putting together some trinket M0 based board...

Building the chips isn't an issue since they on the market they just need compatible firmware

No chance you will ever see or ever hear another peep from Team Xecuter

Max and Bowser are finished

I am just glad I could help play my part in their downfall

Bet they aren't so clever now about ripping me off for a couple of 1000 bucks
I'm just going to pass on the details of the Tx forum mods to the Nintendo people so they will soon be shut up as well.

In case you are wondering Max and Bowser have had all assets and bank accounts frozen and seized as well and the factory is under current investigation but Max owes them 50K for the last batch which they won;t get paid for so no more chips will ever get made.

Great job @SoulOfGazza you made sure everybody who was happy with their purchased SXOS now is unsure if this product wil get continued support. You really saved the world, thanks.

Will it still work if you update the emunand firmware and keep sysnand the same?

What I am thinking is keep your sysnand forever at 10.2.0. Same with the Pirate Emunand keep it at 10.2.0.

But then use a separate card with a new emunand that's used a "clean" emunand. Update with ChoidujourNX (updating through the menu will fail on emunand), and make that your legit system. No piracy. Turn SX Stealth off. Just run it as you would your sysnand.

Nintendo only bans for piracy and cheating online, so it should be safe.

my point is I do think you should not trust a Chinese company (nothing against chinese!!) which only purpose is to enable piracy on the switch. Today they are in business, tomorrow they are gone.

The OP asked 'will there be support?'.... my answer "until its stops making money.... '

Anti piracy measures are going to be made...either by firmware upgrades, either by games checking for 'whatever'...the DS and 3ds implemented AP in games later on...and yes they can be defeated but that needs support....and there we have it!
"until it stops making money"
at that point the most likely thing that would happen is the source code is released to someone
maybe made public

There will be replacement clone chips made with some half-assed SXOS CFW replacement. C'mon, we all know how this works. Jian-Yang.
