masks infringe my right as an american to breathe oxygen

I assume you're joking, it's not a very good idea to breath oxygen.

https://science.howstuffworks.com/question493.htm

If you meant breathable air, then I don't believe such a right exists.

https://princetoninfo.com/make-freedom-to-breathe-a-constitutional-right/

It's kinda interesting how the people who refuse to wear masks because of it's supposed effect on your ability to breath are the ones who care less about polluting the air.

Yes and no. It won't ban your GBAtemp account but it will ban covid from you!

The evidence isn't very strong on that, washable masks appear to be less effective & they have more of an effect stopping you spreading it than catching it. Which is why it's important everyone wears a mask, you aren't just risking your own life if you don't. Not wearing a mask could legally be seen as endangering the life of others.

If there was a combo pack with one of each for about $50 - $60, I would so buy them, but $10 - $13 for each mask is a little steep for my pockets right now.

Was about to buy one until I saw the price. I understand you need to make a profit off of them, but it kinda looks like a little too much to ask for something that is essentially advertisement for the site. I understand that they don't display the web address, but the fact that they are a little vague will likely result in people asking what they are about. Win win for the website, and a lose for your dedicated fans pocket books.

@Chary I advise GBATemp to disable authomatic translations on the shop.

This literally says "PROHIBITED Mask".

This other one lost the sense totally.

Other products also haves senseless translations no one can understand.

We didn't set the prices, is the thing. These are the default mask costs that Redbubble set for designs, and all other designs by other artists.

Was not aware about the mask names being translated automatically. I'll look into it, thank you.

I'm sure we have one or two members that own a graphics print shop. There has to be a way to get better prices than that. Although I'm sure you guys did your home work. I hate it when people bitch about things they have no understanding of, and here I am doing just that.

That’d be the ideal option, but nothing came up when we were looking for shirt providers. I did try to check what’s the best company for this, and while Redbubble certainly isn’t the cheapest, they ship to the most amount of places for a semi-reasonable cost. It’s also not being done for a profit either; I just thought people are buying masks, maybe they’d like to have a Tempy one. At the very least, I appreciate criticism that helps me in trying to improve ideas for the future.

I'd buy a few, even though it's a tad pricey. I cannot find any information regarding the safety of the masks though.
How many rewashes, level of protection, etc etc.

While it's not seen as a big deal in the US, in some countries, like mine, masks need lab tests and certification with the details I mentioned above. Since I work with a masks every day (and the place I work at makes some of said masks as well), I do worry about that stuff, even though I want a temp mask.

This is a really good point. I’ll contact their support and see if they give an answer? Might be worth emailing them yourself as well. I couldn’t find any relevant info either, other than they’re polyester and can be washed...an undefined amount of times.

Yeah, this seems very vague and it's like they're disregarding pretty much everything that makes the masks necessary:

wtf Redbubble. Stop selling them then if you don't have any kind of little filter in them. Well atleast maybe it stops a lot of droplets from flying out.
It seems to be a US thing from what I was checking. From what I was checking in some European places, masks are sold by mentiong the protection level (level 2 and 3, with 2 being better).
The Covid recommended ones are level 3, although I use level 2 ones since I have to wear them roughly 8h a day (two masks per day). I guess for a lot of places selling masks in the US, anything will do as long as it covers your mouse and nose.
