I have a wii and I modded it usuing modmii. It works and loads my usbloader gx. Now my issue is this I have a folder full of wbfs games the format is like this --- > Action Girlz Racing [RGYE5Z].wbfs . I use WIi backup manager to transfer them to my fat32 drive and it works. Now here is my issue I have a 3tb hdd and cannot format it to fat 32 due to that stupid fat32 size limit. So I made it ntfs NO GAMES SHOW. How can I get this drive to work. Then I tried fat32/ntfs, when I use that and load usbloader gx I get stack dump. Please help I would love to use this whole 3tb. My games folder size is 2.10tb which wont fit on a fat32 please help me out.

We have a compatibility list for harddrive. Take a look and see if your harddrive is supported.

Thanks but I see no 3tb section for my WD nas drive. Like mentioned before it works perfect in fat32 mode.
I need 2.10 tb space and that is not available in fat32

I think the limit is actually mbr. its limit is 2TB. after that is gpt. I don't think the 360, ps3, or wii/wii u can read gpt. I know the ps4 can. it even forces gpt on 2TB drives even though fat32 would work. I learned that when installing packages. they weren't detected on fat32.

it might work, but you really don't need anywhere close to that much space. I have about 900GBs filled of a 1tb hdd, and I have between 700-900 games installed. I have it backed up like six or seven times so I don't lose it if the drive fails.

I have a Seagate 4tb drive formatted to fat 32 (mbr) loaded with 1283 Wii games and a ton of GameCube games.

Works like a champion without any issues.

Most drive manufacturers have utilities you can download to format the drive to master boot record (mbr).

Then search for a free fat32 format utility (I use the windows version)

Good luck

wait a minute 4TBs!? is it partitioned? mbr is good up to 2TBs. it's not fat32 that's the deciding factor for these systems; it's mbr.
