There is whats called a sanity check when you boot up bl2 (im assuming the same with the other 2 but im not sure since i havent messed with the other editors too much). if the items/ weapons dont pass the sanity check (a.k.a. modded/ not correctly parted items) theyll be deleted. supposed therre is a work around, but ill mess with it and see if i can get modded/illegal items to work and if i can ill add it to my tut im working on (when i say illegal i mean non ligit, or wont pass the sanity check.)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

in my tut ill also provide docx files with a bunch of gibbed codes for BL2. its an old post on imgur made back when 360 save editing was big

Im still fairly early in the game but when I try to follow the tutorials for modding in ammo via the blackmarketupgrades the values i enter simply just disappear when i enter them and leave the dropdown box. Is it because I havent actually gotten any upgrades from Crazy Earl in game yet? Editing the BL2 GOTY switch save obviously.

Send me your save. I'll see if I can get it to work
Used the old editor that supports the pre sequel , and even though it doesn't say that supports Switch I was able to play my save back and forth between PC and switch .

Were you using the bl2 gibbed editor on the prequel? That was probably the problem. I haven't added the prequel gib editor to my main post since I didnt know if it would work with the switch. I also dont have the prequel yet same with bl1, so I cant test the editor's atm. But if you guys can confirm it works, I'll ad them

Willowtree works for BL1, downloaded the old gibbed editor for the pre sequel and it works for the switch saves, and the new one works for BL2

First time using willow

I followed enough tutorials to get weapons and such but when I save file and restore it to switch the switch don't see it for BL1

Do I save as Pc PS3 or Xbox 360?

Nevermind

Figured it out, duh me

Oh sadly not at the moment, perhaps after some more tweaking I'll have the proper knowledge.

added a small tut with a link to some saves, a link for some gibbed codes. (all those codes will be lvl 72 items, so after adding them hit the sync all button), also a pack from the website but its not complete but they were from the link anyways.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
