This is for vWii within Wii U.

Wii games run fine from ULGX, Gamecube games do not (DSI error). ULGX launches correctly from both vWii forwarder and Wii U injected forwarder. I have noticed when I go to settings in ULGX and then back to games list, it takes 5-10 minutes to display any GUI or respond to any controller inputs (cursor still moves with Wiimote in real time, however). This was not an issue until I injected some Wii U games onto a 64GB USB stick (previously, everything was injected into NAND). I have two USB sticks plugged into Wii U (128GB and 64GB). I have tried both upgrading and downgrading ULGX to no avail. Nintendont is up to date as far as I can tell.

Nintendont works and runs games perfectly, also launches successfully from both vWii and Wii U forwarders.

I’m still new to this, so I was wondering if anyone had a solution?

Thanks!

Buy a wall powered HDD as recommended by Nintendo

Hello,

Get an external hard drive, as Shadow # 1 points out, and everything will work fine.

When I remove the USB which contains the injected Wii U files, I still get the DSI error with ULGX, unfortunately. When I remove both USB sticks, the ULGX GUI fails to load for 5-10 minutes (same as before).

It should also be noted that when I load a Gamecube game from ULGX without the USB sticks plugged in, it gives me Nintendont boot.dol error. As far as I can see, all the ULGX paths are set up correctly.

By the way, the 128GB USB stick runs Wii games fine. It is a Kingston DataTraveler 100G3. I would like to report this on the USB/HDD compatibility list on the Wiki but I can't seem to figure out how to make an account.
