The other day I noticed that I wasn't able to use the microphone on my new 3ds XL when I was playing MKDS but thought nothing of it. When I closed the game I hovered over a 3DS game and blew into the mic but the banner didn't spin around or play ant sort of animation. When I opened the console up the latch that holds the ribbon cable in place had been snapped off at one side so there's no pressure being put on the connection. I used some tape to try and hold the cable into place but no matter how I stuck it down, the mic refused to work. Anyone got any suggestions?
