Bluebomb could work, I've never tested it personally but in theory it could work. Have it launch the priiloader installer or something
the installer would still need the ahb access off and input to start installing. sounds to me like he needs at least a custom installer and priiloader version

What does Bluebomb do? Is it to control the Wii via my computer? If so, I could access the HBC that way and then proceed to the normal installation of Priiloader to only use my GC remote afterwards ?

bluebomb is a wii exploit that works through the bluetooth connection of the wii and allows you to start homebrew applications from system menu (or anywhere afaik). this could be the priiloader installer if you want, but you'd still need a GC controller to start the installation and a patched IOS36

Ok so by using BlueBomb I could access HBC then (would it work if I already have HBC installed?) And then if I run the installer for priiloader from HBC I could use and setup Priiloader to launch HBC at boot only using my GC remote?

Bluebomb is an exploit that runs on Linux, you run it and hit the sync button on the wii console and when it tries to connect to a "wiimote" via Bluetooth it launches a wii application instead.

Daco is right though, it wouldn't have ahbprot access so the latest priiloader installer wouldn't work when launched directly in this way. I think you could launch IOS236 installer mod (I. E. The kind used by ModMii) or any cios installer that doesn't require a wiimote (if you already have a cios installed you can skip this step), then use the same exploit to launch a wad manager and install a forwarder channel with ahbprot and meta.xml support (you can skip this step if you already have this installed - e.g. The spinning USB loader channel installed by ModMii by default), then you can save the latest priiloader installer to the path used by the forwarder (I. E. Rename sd:/apps/priiloader temporarily to sd:/apps/USB-loader or whatever), then use the same exploit to launch a forwarder channel dol that is set to launch the title ID of the forwarder channel from the previous step (modmii's advanced Downloader can create this dol for you if you provide it with the forwarder channel title ID).

So, its a lot of steps, but ultimately you would have an exploit launch a forwarder dol that launches a forwarder channel that has ahbprot and meta.xml support which should launch the latest priiloader installer successfully without requiring a wiimote. It's certainly unorthodox but I think it should work provided bluebomb is able to successfully launch the variety of dols required for each of the steps.

Edit: there's actually probably a slightly easier method, if you launch a forwarder dol that launches the HBC, assuming you already have one of the latest versions installed, then you have hbc access and can just use your gc controller to launch the official installer

Edit2: so to recap, find a forwarder dol that will launch the title ID of the version of the HBC you have installed (I.e. LULZ if it's the latest version), or you can create this forwarder dol from modmii's advanced download page you just need to key in the desired title id. Then launch this dol using bluebomb, then you are in the HBC and should be able to use your GC controller to launch whatever you need

what do you mean with GC remote? a gamecube controller?

either case, bluebomb doesn't boot channels, it boots .dol binaries (like the one HBC shows in its menu and are saved on your SD or USB). but i do believe its possible to load HBC from bluebomb if you get an application that can start HBC and go from there. it's a lot safer imo.

but yes, whatever you do, this is going to need quite some steps and it isn't really what usually happens

Yes Gamecube controller, yeah i think I might wait until I have access to another Wiimote then, should be a lot easier!
But thanks for your help!

if you have a gamecube controller then i think its just a case of getting bluebomb set up and starting HBC through it using a binary that can be provided.
but if getting bluebomb set up is to much its better to wait ye.

I do have a GC controller. From what I read bluebomb is used to launch the HackMii installer but how can I launch HBC instead, I'm not familiar with binary.

I guess I just need to set up Linux in order to use bluebomb, but that should be manageable!

give me a poke if you have the bluebomb exploit set up. it should be able to boot different stuff normally, and i'll make something really quick that can boot HBC.

My HBC stuff is on the SD card, but I will boot Bluebomb from a USB drive, does it change anything or not?

Also what are the files i need to install to run the installer for priiloader correctly? Theres a lot of files on github lol

Use this meta to install priiloader with ahbprot (tested):

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<app version="1">
<name>Priiloader</name>
<version>0.9beta3 (release)</version>
<release_date>20200201000000</release_date>
<coder>DacoTaco …</coder>
<short_description>Priiloader Homebrew</short_description>
<long_description>
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
</long_description>
<ahb_access/>
</app>

The link doesn't work anyore.
so it doesn't. the 0.9 tag has been replaced with the beta 3 tag, and doesn't have the zip anymore.
there is a boot.dol however to use instead.

if i get off my arse ill be reworking some more before releasing a new beta and the final 0.9.
you could also update from older priiloader versions

Wait... I already have it but, I updated priiloader (0.9 BETA 3), and I got to System Menu Hacks, it gives me the stupid "exception (DSI) occured" message. Did I screw something up with the files?
thats... not suppose to happen.
what is the hacks file on your SD/USB ? what system menu version?
