Bin files aren't supported you need to use the virtual Amiibo format by @XorTroll . Unless I find out with more accuracy when it crashes I can't really help any further.

a lot of virtual amiibo don't work on emuiibo v0.5.0
I actually get the Amiibo data from the Amiibo API which is what @XorTroll uses in Emutool.
My switch is bricked so I can't update Amiigo because I have no way to test changes but if you join my discord server I'll help you manually create it. Or if you have a pc you can use Emutool to create just this one. I have a bot in my discord server that can get Amiibo IDs so you can get the ID for ren'ee and then just edit a different virtual Amiibo you don't use with a text editor to have ren'ee's ID.
Cool. I didn't know the format was still compatible. While I'm here I may as well link this for people who use Amiigo to swap Amiibos. My SX Core arrived today I'm just waiting to get my hands on a Mariko console so I should be able to update the original soon. I plan on doing a full rewrite. I hope it will be with in the next month but I can't make any promises because I have other obligations to attend to.
Virtual Amiibos? You can use Emutool which can be downloaded from Emuiibo's GitHub page or you can use Amiigo Mod by @Kronos2308 (it is in the homebrew app store)
Yeah sorry. Changes to Emuiibo and Atmosphere broke Amiigo and I wasn't able to update it after my Switch broke. I have a new Switch now but don't have time to update it because of university. I'm going to completely rewrite it this summer but in the mean time use Amiigo Mod.
Official version has been updated. Amiigo mod should still work fine but 2.0 has a much nicer UI imo.
