Hi there.. sorry I'm new to this scene. This seems really awesome.

I just don't know where to place the folder OR if I should just drag and drop the .nro file on my SD card. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Drag the "switch-cheats-updater" folder inside "switch". At the end on your SD card, you should have the following path for the .nro : "/switch/switch-cheats-updater/switch-cheats-updater.nro"

If you're really new to it and want to start cheating, you'll need to download Edizon too and follow a tutorial (it's simple) on how to enable cheats. If you struggle, don't hesitate to message me on gbatemp or @Simple#8155 on discord

for a future update when you have it delete all cheats have it delete the folder as well. I downloaded the master cheat pack from here a few days ago and im going insane atm. I used the option to delete all cheats it did. But it left the folder behind. So now I have to go through 600+ folders and delete the ones that have a CHEAT folder or something.

I don't do that because some users use mods, so I can't just delete their stuff. I could perhaps delete the folders that have nothing but a cheats folder inside, but working with the switch filesystem is annoying

And no it dont install the cheats for XCI's . It only shows i have 3 games installed.so it dont work for me

Not true, i have many games in my menu that i have played. All are strait XCI files with updates in one. And it will not find them.
Could you tell me if it works for you with the latest update? Can't test it because I don't use SXOS myself, but it might now detect gamecards (so hopefully XCIs)

not sure if it will work on here but try something like this:

Code:
"command for delete on switch" SD\titles\*\cheats

this would then search inside any folders inside the titles folder and then go into sub directory for CHEATS folders

As far as I know, there's no easy way to use wildcards with libnx. Besides, The app can already remove all the cheats but it leaves behind empty cheats folders (supposedly because I use std::filesystem instead of libnx's functions). Also I believe KageShinobi's issue was to delete the title folders, not only the cheats folders inside those.

will this delete old bid cheat txt still on 1.0 of sw/sh until the dlc drops thats why i'm asking

It will overwrite existing files with the cheat files for all (available) versions of your switch games. So if you have a .txt file for version 1.0 of Pokemon, it will be replaced by the latest version of the cheat file for v1.0 from matias3ds' pack.
It doesn't delete, but does overwrite so you'll your custom cheats

@Homlet : firstly I deeply want to say thank you for that tool. Edizon has update function but not so quick, that's why your tool is so necessary for ppl like me. However, may I suggest a small update?
There is a folder name is 0100152000022000, which caused some troubles in Mario Kart 8 (turns characters invisible or freak size...). Everytime updating, this folder reappears despite you delete it before. So could you please do sth to this situation?

Something's wrong, the app only detects three installed titles but I have like five of them. And it doesn't seem to be working on those titles it doesn't detect, since EdiZon overlay in Animal Crossing tells me it didn't find any cheats (provided cheats for version 1.1.4a are included in the latest cheats file)
