PLEASE HELP: I gonna make it short, I put the SD and power on the switch normally, no problem, all works normally, i turn it on using CFW and the sd is not registred at all, it reads the sd if the sd is at the absolute pushable lvl wich requires adesive tape to hold it but cause many read problems after 1 hour, another method is releasing the sd to a normal presure when the NINTENDO logo shows BUT BUT the reading process take 3 time longer wich shows in much more xtended load time.

  1. I have changed the part and the problem persist
  2. i have used a Fat32 sd and the problem pèrsist
  3. i have factory reset the switch and the problem persist
  4. i have changed the files i use but regardless of CFW the problem is the same
PLEASE PLASE SOMEONE HELP, thanks in advance

The issue might be coming from your SD card, do you have another one to test?
I have tested several sd card with diferent formats, same result

If the card is legit then probably issue is contact point on the motherboard.
The contact was replaced for a brand new one, bot parts slot and contact and the problem persist,

I dont mean the SD card, I meant the contact point on the motherboard and the sd card reader, it would start to give people issue reading the card, then it stop reading 100%.

Had the exact same problem 2 weeks ago. Just like described cfw only working with the sd card pushed in to the maximum. I also noticed a big increase of loading times. Sad to say, but your sd card reader seems to be at the end of it's lifespan.
Did you change your sd card often or took it out and in many times?

Long story short, I had to change my sd card reader, to get rid of the problem. It is not very complex if you are able to use screwdrivers and are sensitive to a decent amount. I was able to get an exchange sd card reader for under 10 bucks.

Hope this helps a bit even though it is not the easiest solution.

Edit: I also got the problem that the contact between the motherboard and the sd reader did not close completely resulting in the console not booting. I know the solution is unorthodox but the solution for me was putting a little pressure on the spot where sd reader and motherboard connect by putting a small non conductive piece on the spot before closing the back of the console.

Yhea...well you see, when this started happening i got the sd reader changed literaly for that exact part of a brand new switch just opened, and chnged nothing really, So, its a weird issue, only fails with CFW.

Try booting it from hekate and post your sdcard readings from the menu on the top.

To answer that question is because hekate only support full speed sd mode, if one of your pins on the mb is busted Horizon will read it fine but at lower speeds, but CFW will fail or not read at all, i'm pretty sure one of the pins of the connector that you resoldered to the board is busted or even one of the rails is broken. You should try soldering one pin at a time following mattyfrog's map and see what you get.

A quick tip, there are test points on the motherboard that can help with the diagnostic part of things.
Waicol shared the picture with the pinout. Side note, using force would cause it to connect if it is inproperly soldered.

Because that's maybe forcing the badly soldered pin to connect to the board thus making it work.
I see, so having this there is no way to make it woprk normally? forcing the Syclock maybe? cuz nobody in my town fixed that part of the mother board

its a small work area. Replacing the charging port is also a pain and were i live, there are only 2 or 3 people who are willing to fix it at a component level.

You could try with the test pads to find the broken one and just solder a cable directly to the external sd module. Also you can just apply some heat and see if that fixes it (not too much heat or you will mess up everything)
