A question i've seen answered plenty of times (i did do a search), but none of them recently.
To explain, the recent pokemon announcement of pokemon home has got me hyped to be able to open up the switch generation to my saved up hoards of treasured catches and (enhanced but legit) other pokemon.
With the recent (not so recent by now - i've been away from 3ds hacking for ages) ban waves for people connecting to nintendos servers i was wondering if its even possible for me to use pokemon bank anymore without facing a ban. For context I'm using B9S and my 3ds is rammed full of software that their servers will say i shouldn't have.
So if when pokemon home etc are released can i resub to pokemon bank and happily migrate all my hard work to the new generation or will this result in;
a) a variety of dlc and updates being wiped from my device upon connecting (i remember this happening in the past)
b) being banned on my 3DS, Nintendo account that also has my switch, Switch etc.
c) loss of money and sanity
or some combination of all.
Just looking to update myself on what the advice is on this in the scene these days as were coming to the point where pokemon bank can fulfill its ultimate purpose. Thanks for any help, im sorry if the informaton is out there already, all i could find were answers to the same question from too long ago to be relevant.
