When I did the backup, I had booted ReiNX previously, and also I had installed and removed a homebrew NSP. Can I get banned if I use this nand to play online with emunand? In case it isn´t clean is there something I can do to make it clean?
how can we create a clean nand?
The unic way for now it's make a backup before use any CFW or homebrew
I remember reading it’s better to use Hekate for clean back up vs sx os backup , does the sx os back up make it not clean?
Didn't know about SX OS because it's closed source, the Hekate backup are clean and don't leave any traces, are a 1:1 copy of your nand, so yes, I think that on this case Hekate are most safe than other tools.
On my experience, I always use Hekate as bootloader and nand backup/restore, no problems and no bans for more than one year.
Alright Hetake it is, last thing, what exactly should be backed up? When I did my switch a while back I only did the boot01/00 I think it was, now I'm doing a back up for a second switch and following a guide here and he's backing up quite a few other things on top of that.
I've been running EmuNAND on the first switch since it released for sx os with no issues so I'm curious what really needs to be backed up
If you only have boot0 and boot1 then you're missing the whole nand backup. Dont try and restore those file because they wont work unless you also restore a raw nand backup that was made at the same time.Alright Hetake it is, last thing, what exactly should be backed up?
