GoombaSend is a homebrew app that lets you transfer a GB/GBC rom from your Wii/Gamecube to a GBA with a link cable. FIX94 made the original (and v1.1), but I made a fork that adds the ability to transfer multiple roms to one GBA, as long as those roms take up <=128 KB total. This means you could add four smaller games at once (for example: Tetris, Dr. Mario, Alleyway, and Pipe Dream). I also adjusted the menu controls so you can hold left/right to quickly scroll through the rom selection, or press up/down to go forward/back 10 files at a time.

You can download the release here, or view the source code here.

Just watched Fix94's vid on youtube of this and it's pretty cool. What does the size limit of the rom depend on since it's max 128KBs?

This made me wonder if a similar thing could be done for the DS with the Wii, actually I believe there's already a homebrew for it that does kind of the same thing with Download Play.

The emulator only takes up about 42KB, so there should be about 210KB left for roms, but for some reason nothing beyond the first 128KB would transfer. I’ll look into it some more tonight/tomorrow when I get back to my Wii; I think it might have something to do with using the wrong data type?

This sounds really, really interesting! I should dust off my GBA and mess with it.

Edit: So I tried a little, it's very easy to use, and the package you send to the gba is also pretty neat, I didn't expect to being able to have options and settings.
