The config provided in the example is only a ram freq increase, no way it's gonna make the switch more hot than without.
If you want to remove it, just delete the folder from your SD
It had a pre config that overclocked zelda in docked mode. I'm pretty sure I downloaded it off the appstore but maybe was a different source

Found zero mentions of this, but my overclock is dropping after sleeping in homebrew at least.

Using the latest kosmos in emummc. I have bloodstained set up with a 1200ish CPU clock, and hold right-click to launch homebrew menu, then the new PPSSPP standalone. I have a scene in Tactics Ogre where I drop frames running standard clocks and am smooth with the mild overclock. The scene is smooth so the overlock seems to work... until I suspend/sleep the switch, upon bringing it out, performance is right back down as if I had stock clocks. Restarting PPSSPP does not fix this, only closing the redirected title (Bloodstained) and restarting it gets my overclock back. So its as if the system is only setting clock when launching the title, and can't get it back up to overclock after coming out of sleep.

I am running emunand with atmosphere on retroloaded. I play fortnite on normal firmware and nsp games on emunand. WILL THIS OVERCLOCK work when i boot on the regular firmware? Or will only work when i boot to emunand (atmosphere)?

Is there something up with this where it reverts back to the factory clock settings after a short while? Playing OK KO and the scrolling is smooth, but only when it's clocked higher than factory. But for whatever reason I'll be playing and it'll become jerky again.

Sometimes going to the home menu and returning to the game rectifies it, other times I need to completely quit out and start it again. But even then, it will only keep the overclock for maybe 10 mins before reverting again.

Can the constant writing on the log decrease the lifespan of the SD Card?.
I don't know why, but the log keep appearing even without the flag :/

I don't know why either it does not happen on my end, maybe you just didnt restart. There probably are much more meaningful ways to save SD cycles, but be sure to turn logs back on though if you want us to troubleshoot a problem

I overclocked Crash Team Racing handheld charging to dock GPU/Mem defaults and max possible CPU + ReverseNX. It runs beautifully but at some point the fan becomes really, really loud. I didn't even know the Switch could pull that much air, is this actually "safe"?

Yes, if you're running dock clocks you've got nothing to worry about.

How is the battery life with a slight GPU OC like 384 and 460? Anyone tested? I have never used OC without charger (the fan is running crazy with docked mode speeds)

Any news on a GUI to select presets @m4xw ?
Is it not possible to just have a blanket overclock rule so the switch continues to run at the increased performance indefinitely? (e.g only a minor overclock so no long term issues)

Both 384mhz and 460mhz are fine to use in handheld without a charger, Nintendo officially uses both of those clocks in games

Been using sys-clk with reverseNX in combination with a 10,000mah battery case for use of docked clocks on the go, and.. I am now unofficially designating my switch as a handheld "Switch Pro"!
The switch might now weigh about twice as much and the fan sounds like a mini jet engine at times, but the games look absolutely stunning in docked resolution on the small screen. Hell-blade looks gorgeous at docked clocks as do many other games with dynamic resolution scaling. A massive thank you to all the devs working on this!

Oh yeah, just a little more information in regards to the battery case.
If you're planning on doing this, make sure the battery case has an output that is close to or matches the official charger's wattage/amperage.
Some of the cheaper ones don't and might not be compatible with sys-clk higher clock speeds.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
