Hacking Oscillator on chip or not

Got 1 Corona v1 and 2 Trinity boards that I'd like to rgh with the ace v3.

I've seen there's variants with and without the oscillator (150mhz), so my question is;

Will it make a difference if the oscillator is there or not for my boards?

Get the V3 as it works for both and is better than the newer chips.

Well, the issue is that I've seen ace v3 chips with AND without the oscillator. My question is whichever I should get.. with or without the oscillator?

The Ace without it is a V5. V3’s all have a crystal. I’ve only done 1 V5 install and I wasn’t impressed. Get the V3

Have ordered over a thousand V3 from various places throughout the years and all were basically the same. Have only had 1 bad one and that was bad packaging.

Just ordered a v3 from Ebay for 4$USD. Now I just need the Jr programmer.

They come programmed for corona and usually good boot times. Have to program for any other mobo.
