SD2Vita was working perfectly fine for me, but i used autoplugin to reinstall remapsv because it had stopped working. When i turned the Vita on it stopped recognizing SD2vita and now only the internal memory is working. What should i do?

create/use a config.txt in the tai folder of ux0 (your memory card). it will override the one on ur0.
I think i did that and it didn't work, here is what is written in my config.txt file:

# For users plugins, you must refresh taiHEN from HENkaku Settings for
# changes to take place.
# For kernel plugins, you must reboot for changes to take place.
*KERNEL
ur0:tai/storagemgr.skprx
ux0:tai/minivitatv.skprx
ux0:tai/ds3.skprx
ur0:tai/udcd_uvc.skprx
ux0:tai/nonpdrm.skprx
ux0:app/PSPEMUCFW/sce_module/adrenaline_kernel.skprx
ux0:tai/dsmotion.skprx
ux0:tai/ds4vita.skprx
ux0:tai/ds3vita.skprx
ux0:tai/repatch.skprx
ux0:tai/plugins/AnalogsEnhancer.skprx
ur0:tai/lolicon.skprx
ux0:tai/ioplus.skprx
# henkaku.skprx is hard-coded to load and is not listed here
*main
ux0:tai/pngshot.suprx
# main is a special titleid for SceShell
*ALL
ux0:tai/dsmotion.suprx
ux0:tai/vitagrafix.suprx
ux0:TouchRemapsuprx
ux0:tai/remaPSV.suprx

Why would you have lines where some plugins are on ux0: while others are in ur0:? That's like shooting oneself in the foot (even if you can specify plugin locations).

If you are using kernel-level plugins (like Storagemgr and/or udcd_uvc), put every plugin inside ur0:/tai, put your config.txt there too and make sure every line points there as well. Afterwards, get rid the ux0:/tai by deleting the whole folder as everything should be loaded only from one location (ur0: in this example).

While you are free to use autoplugin, being "auto" means that it will do things without you being able to confirm certain changes. Your SD2Vita will still work, but autoplugin probably removed or simply changed the line in your config.txt where it's location is specified, which makes your Vita boot with your MC only and not your SD2Vita. IMO, it's extremely easy to do it yourself without using autoplugin as you only type a few lines here and there and that's all, but you should still take into account that issues like this may happen sometimes with tools like that.

Yeah from a glance this looks to be because of the mixture of ur0 and ux0

- Move everything you have in ux0 to ur0.
- Delete ux0
- change all lines in the config above where it says ux0 to ur0
- reboot.

Vitashell can just be re-installed using any of the exploits again. Actually, it's somewhat recommended you have Vitashell both in your Sony Mc and also in your SD2Vita location; that way, if for some reason your Vita boots without loading your SD2Vita (faulty SD card and/or adapter), you will still have access to Vitashell, which makes fixing your issues easier.

So, you need to re-install Vitashell (use the exploit you used in the first place to enable HENkaku and download Vitashell again, assuming you still have it), then use Vitashell to change your config.txt so everything points to ur0:/tai, and place every plugin you use, along with the config.txt, in that location, too. If you have it, delete the whole ux0:/tai folder afterwards as you won't be using it.

Reboot afterwards, and everything should work properly if your config.txt is correctly setup as mentioned before.

You can't if you don't have a location to install it to, and as your Vita isn't loading your SD2Vita adapter, the only method available is the official memory card which the Vita will recognize one way or the other.

So, while you certainly can install molecularShell with the web exploit (and then install Vitashell afterwards as a .VPK if you want), you can't install it to your SD2Vita (and you don't need to as its still there, but it's not being loaded), leaving the Sony MC as your only option.

There is only one exception to this, and that's when you have a Vita 1000 series and have reformatted a certain partition beforehand so your Vita 1000 can have something like an "internal storage" not unlike the Vita 2000 series. But that is another process, with some other tools and it should have been made before things like this.

A slim vita has internal 1gb storage so you don't need to buy a memory card

If on 3.60 just visit henkaku.xyz and reinstall vitashell

So can i install vitashell without sony card?

yes, as Rike explained below you need to run the hack again in order to get Vitashell;

https://vita.hacks.guide/installing-h-encore
