I switched partitions and able to access ps vita with sd card in. I'm now in vitashell and I havent got a uma0 folder.. Come to think of it, I never have done. There is not a tai folder in the ux0 folder.. What do you suggest?
That's fine, I'm not sure why, but there are sometimes when vitashell doesn't recognize the secondary storage you have to mount it yourself.
press triangle in vitashell and select mount uma0
If GCD=uma0 it should mount with no prob

Already tried it but it asks me to attach a USB flash drive to continue. I have to option to 'mount game card ux0:' though?

Strange, idk I've never used that option, in this case i suggest you plug the sd card into your pc and just delete the id.dat file and tai folder if there is one from the pc, then you can just switch the partitions and the sd2vita should load without a problem as ux0

Actually my config.txt looks dodgy.. -

0000 # enso_ex temp config
0001 *main
0002 sa0:eex/henkaku.suprx
0003 *NPXS10015
0004 sa0:eex/henkaku.suprx
0005 *NPXS10016
0006 sa0:eex/henkaku.suprx
0007 *KERNAL
0008 ur0:tai/storagemgr.skprx

That is different to the one I had on ux0 (which I backed up) so could I just replace that with the back up config?

I don't think the one what I backed up looks right either. Could you send over your config file so I can compare please? I wondered why I was missing my plugins..

Idk about this one i have regular enso installed and have never seen a config like this one, you can try your backup config but that might cause errors due to how enso_ex installs itself, If that doesn't work i recommend you boot with sony mem card go into henkaku settings, remove the spoofing and choose unlink mem card then proceed to uninstall enso_ex and reboot, run h-encore, install regular enso 1.1, then continue with getting the sd2vita working,

This is my config but idk if it will work with enso_ex

Did you reinstall storagemgr? I think it gets deleted after you uninstall enso_ex and check out your config.txt in ur0 how's it looking?

I reinstalled storagemgr, everything looks fine to me in config.txt.

When my sd card is in the vita, I am no longer receiving the format memory message but it doesn't look like vitashell is recognising it as nothing saying it has 64gb

You cofigured storagemgr to have GCD=ux0 and MCD=uma0 right?

Is it being recognized in vitashell? At all? in vitashell it should show space used/total space check it's contents anything show up?

Yep, I configured storagemgr - GCD=ux0 and MCD=uma0

Vitashell isn't recognising it. Ux0 is 8gb (ps memory card) and ur0 is 2.52gb

Last date modified on all the folders in vitashell say 01/01/2000 01:00

Ok and what about uma0? Is it popping up? It sounds like it could be the adapter itself or the sd card itself, i would try formatting the sd card and flashing zzblank img again and then disconnect the sd card and reinsert, the pc should ask you to format again, format, then plug your vita into your pc and open vitashell press start and make sure usb device has memory card selected and switch select button to usb then exit menu and press select it should connect via usb to pc,(make sure you have show hidden files enabled in your pc, you should see the sony mem card contents, copy everything to somewhere on your pc as a backup, then copy that backup to the sd card. Once done plug sd card back into sd2vita and hopefully it works upon booting your vita

Uma0 still isn't appearing. My sd card is brand new so I'm putting my bet on the sd2vita adapter. I'll try the method you've just advised tomorrow, if that doesn't work I'll be buying another adapter

Ok sounds good, and it could be the adapter, but since your vita did recognize it and it went to the format loop i believe the sd card is the problem, not the card itself, but the data, it might not have the correct contents or some file may have gotten corrupted or something like that, formatting with zzblank img and copying your sony mem card contents to it should fix it.

Just wanted to let you know that, after spending the majority of the weekend figuring all this out.. It turned out that when I copied the ux0 files over to SD card, they didn't all transfer weirdly so now after so many attempts, I've got it working.

Thanks for your help mate. Your advice pointed me in the right direction and helped me out hugely!
