Ok, so my vita was running on 3.65 enso. last night I was on the Vita homebrew browser app and downloaded enso EX. I did all the steps and the vita restarted and now it wants me to format the memory card. at first, I didn't but I couldn't access the content on the memory card or the SD2vita so then I formatted the memory card and still unable to access anything, so these are the steps I've tried so far to fix

*tried to access henkaku settings but it's not there.
*tried to install henkaku but wont allows me.
*tried to install http://mlthaku.tk/ but unable to.
*tried to copy h-core over via pc but keeps telling me to update the firmware.
* tried to install the latest firmware to 3.70 but the firmware will download but not install.
*Rebuilt database but still the same.

Does anyone know how to sort this? it's a vita 1000 series

If you want to uninstall (and loose) enso till the new exploit is released, this is the right solution.

Otherwise, it is quite easy,

Flight mode, qcma, 3.65 ofw.
Reboot.

Follow some tuts to reinstall the fw with qcma. (Ps: it means you must edit qcma fw ver. or your update xml)

If you were using fw spoofing, you must skip wipe dialog, run henkaku, go to henkaku settings and unlink your mc.

Now reboot and, if you did everything correctly, everything will be back to normal.

Just install official enso now.

Install vita shell, redo your plugin config and reboot.

Thank you for the advice and details on how to rectify the enso issue. Unfortunately on my case, it will not read the official sony memory card, on each reboot it asks me to format the memory card and when I do it reboots to a loop of the formatting again and again. would anyone know how to fix that loop? also when I add the SD2vita to the system I see the orange bliker showing it's reading it but nothing happens. Nothing is displayed and I can not move forward. I cannot connect to a pc because it says I need a memory card, the memory card is empty and in the well but it's not being read (probably because of the sd2vita changes made by Enso_Ex). soo.... Help if possible?

If you no longer can access henkaku settings you probably had tai folder in ux0 which is why this issue occurs you need to put tai folder in ur0 so that even if theres no mem card and only sd2vita it will still boot henkaku/h-encore.
You will need either a second vita or a second mem card to restore access to first one otherwise you will have to format and start all over.
Apps you will need are
Cardunlock
App manager plus

Np, and you can use your 2k since it can install the apps i mentioned above without a mem card if you don't already install henkaku/h-encore then install the apps i mentioned above and use app manager plus to move cardunlock to uro. Once you have cardunlock installed on ur0,reboot vita, then once booted up just open cardunlock, and while cardunlock is running insert the locked mem card and follow the instruction in app, just make sure whenever it asks you anything ALWAYS select no, choosing yes on any of the prompts will result in formatting your mem card, once this is done and you have access to mem card again depending on which vita you want to keep it on you can leave as is on 2k vita. If you want on 1k vita and it is different firmware than your 2k vita, you might need to unlink the mem card in henkaku setting on 2k vita and then it will work on 1k vita just again make sure to select no to any prompts so you don't end up formatting mem card.

You said you have enso, so henkaku settings should be there unless the config is messed.

If you have a 2nd vita it is even easier, just unlink the card or format it there

No need to mess with hbs, they can t do more than henkaku.

If the problem persists, maybe @SKGleba has a solution (since this is his mod)

If you have a 2nd card, you can try with that and do a clean offline install of 3.65 with qcma.

Anyway, i don t see why it should not work if you do a full format and unlink from your 2nd vita (unless it s an enso ex issue)

Thank you! I'm all set now! the system is back to normal and I'll reinstall everything else shortly. THANK you again!!

the issue was that I could not access the memory card at all. so QCMA was not working as needed. the card unlocker did the trick and with the card active again I have access to all the data that was on the card. (glad I didn't format them as it asked!)

No problem, glad i could help out!

Sorry new issue, all apps seem to be working with exception of anything that requires unsafe home brew. I checked the system settings and now I'm on firmware 3.65 and no henkaku settings are available. I tired to reinstall via the browser and it times out not reaching the pages intended. Anyone had this issue and knows how to rectify it?

Sorry, i was unable to reply earlier, glad you got it figured out though, make sure you have only one tai folder in ur0 and if you have tai folder in ux0 delete it, and just reinstall plugins from autoplugin app.

Card unlocker does what henkaku unlink does because that thing is out when taihen was in testing and there was no setting.
No more, no less.

You can skip format and unlink from henkaku even if you see no card.
It s already mounted (infact the vita reads the id.dat inside) so henkaku can do its job just fine. (Even if you can t see the card)

Yes i know, but there are situations in which you can't access henkaku unlink and you are locked out of your mem card, the combination of how it's caused differs slightly from person to person but it leaves them in a state where henkaku unlink is not accesible and mem card is in the format mem card loop, If you don't have a 2k vita or 2nd mem card in these situations you will be forced to format, or you can use cardunlock to do what the unlink would do if it was accessible.

Yes just install henkaku in 2nd vita or if you have a alim vita or pstv you can use the internal memory, just i stal emso and i believe you can just plug card in and use the unlonk mem card option in henkaku settings or the cardunlock app i mentioned above.
