Everything will be hacked eventually, but you're better off buying an unpatched switch rather than waiting because we're probably talking about years before that hack could happen.

With the new NSW revision models due this year. They are expected to have a different tegra chipset & need a new kexploit. Not to mention NSW models after July 2018 have not been fully hacked yet.

Fully hacked yes, public exploit no, seen pics of payload working on patched units showing the patched address.

I do believe that yes, but not using the RCM method. I do believe, however, Nintendo will significantly increase their security in future revisions of the Switch (in case the Switch Mini and Pro are real), and will probably take some good amount of time to find something, even if there's a big quantity of people working on it...

RCM was kind of a dumb oversight by Nintendo, and they know they've messed up, so i only expect them to up their safety more and more in the future.

not necessarily the case. look at the ps3 scene for example. all of the models can be hacked, but the newest super slims can only use HAN , which is vastly inferior to having a ps3 slim that can run rebug and load iso files. I think at BEST the newest patched switches will be able to do the same thing the older unpatched ones can do, but I would not have any expectations. I would just try to horde as many unpatched switches as possible. If you get them for relatively cheap...
