It looks like DENUVO has a significant impact on Devil May Cry 5's performance.
A DENUVO free version of the game has been leaked through Steam Beta branch.

Here you can see the difference between DENUVO and No DENUVO version.

It's well established that DRM, esp. Denuvo, is only for entitled developers who are in reality, pantywaists

Capcom can suck it for all I care, I really hope people pirate their game or at least, make the DRM removal methods public just to spite them. DRM sucks and it helps no one.

Typical anti-piracy measures that just make things worse for the general consumer. Really shouldn't surprise me at all but it does.
