Hardware Right Joy Con Not Connected (whilst wireless)

I am completely stock so not messed with it. When it is attached to the console it works, but when removing it doesn't connect to the console wirelessly at all. Any help would be great. I've already stripped it down and found no issues with it that way.

Check the antenna on the right joycon. It has the gold connector and sits right next to the battery.

Try this: have your switch in handheld mode, take the joycons out, go into settings and disconnect the controllers (forgot where it's at) then when the joycons are unpaired/disconnected, DO NOT TOUCH THE JOYCONS. Then hold the power button and press power down. When it's fully off, power the switch back on then connect the joycons to the switch. Then bam! It should fix.
