RetroGameFan has links to his personal hack/translation collection in the first post of his thread under the 'MODS/Translation Patched Games' spoiler. That collection has his version of the patch which boots perfectly under 7.06.
 
Thanks for everyone who made this happen! Playing this the last couple of weeks has been amazing.

That being said, I am curious if this is an appropriate place to ask for help on some quests in the game.

I have no idea where to find this Alec guy from Quest 026. Does anyone know where to find him? Additionally, does anyone have any hints/tips on how to clear the fog on the southern continent? TIA!

He's in "Jungle" first, then in "Bikini Bay" next, I think.

Hey, guys! First of all, big thanks to all the people involved with this project!
I have a N3DS and a knockoff R4i card with ysmenu that I've updated to 7.06. I've successfully patched the game and it does start on the N3DS, but after a few minutes it just freezes and stops. If the game starts, do I need the modified patch, or maybe I have a different problem here?

Where can i find Flutterina? I couldn’t find one anywhere on the islands surrounding Rekka... TIA!
 
Just stopping by to say thanks for the hard work. this translation is really well made. I'm using my DSTwo to run it, and it's running perfectly.

It's on some dumb little islands. Spend some time flying around the map and fighting the enemies that appear on the isolated islands and you'll eventually find it.
 
I tried to get a list of working and non working flashcarts by reading all posts since the release.
I noticed that a we got a lot less report since YSMenu has been updated, so maybe a lot of flashcarts reported as not working are now working fine. we might need users to report again.
too bad we didn't get proper report right away (card type/model/website + which kernel)

For users who reported their flashcart not working and used YSmenu, could you try again with latest YSMenu ?
especially if you have one from the "non working" section below.
Also, please specify which kernel/firmware you are using if you know.

Can you be more precise? I've listed throughout the Magic Master and could not find the door/page you are referring to? And I really want to finish this quest too. Thanks

Okay, so I have an R4 SDHC Gold Pro 2018 from "r4isdhc dot com", YSmenu 7.06, and the game has the original patch. The game would boot, but would freeze and lock up after about 1 minute, either in the intro animation or right after you get to the street after that.
I use a Kingston 8GB Class 6 card, freshly formated with SDformater 3.1, but got the same results with a different microSD card as well.
The card can play just about every other game I've thrown at it so far.

I did try the arm7.xdelta patch, but that way got an 'error -4' and it wouldn't boot so I figured that one was for a different card.
Also, this is on an N3DS, not on original NDS hardware, but it shouldn't make a difference, right?

I don't think the console makes a difference. the problem is the flashcart, its kernel and the patch itself.

just to be sure:
you got error -4 with the ysmenu 7.0.6, or you tried the arm7 patch before updating ysmenu?
it's the error users reported with 7.0.5.

Redid the patch with ARM7 just now and just to be sure, reinstalled YSmenu 7.06 too, and nope, still "error -4".

In Magic Master check the title page of every chapters.
Also There are 7 medals (key items) in world map. Collect them. If you find solution, reveal it here.
