I would urge the other file admins to check for this issue as well.
Ok, folks. You out there that keep saying you would like to help.... this is what you can help with right now, it isn't much but we need some insight.
At the request of beautifulbeast I am posting an issue that I have run across. In the file the Geunt and I are heading there are in game messages. Now these messages are in a sort of index by location in the file, this creates an addressing scheme for the messages.
For those out there that believe I am speaking Greek(or some wholly new language...) an example.
This is what appears in the file:
Koma evolution of
???
has been opened!
has already been opened!
These 4 lines create a single message, not all at the same time or even the same message. I know... still confused. Depending on the data contained in the .sav file and user selection you get the following messages:
Koma evolution of ???has been opened!
Koma evolution of ???has already been opened!
(The ??? is a selected character name)
So as you can see, one message is split into several lines. This is done by the programmers to save space by not the same text over again in messages that contain many of the same words... cuts down on the overall game size.
So those of you still asking, "How can I help?" If we, as cleaners, want to make logical English out of these lines we have to maintain this fragmented structure, or we risk breaking the game when applying the patch. Out to the
@Community, Below are several sentences that we need your input on for rewording:
the Wi-Fi connection
has cut off
cut been off.
The music
can be listened to from the database!
is already available in the database!
Video intro of
J-Quiz's
questions increased!
questions already added!
Now, these are the line. If you think we have them formatted well, that is fine too.
