Hello everyone!

Just got my 3G adaptor from sphere solid, now I want to use my 400gb micro sd as ux0. Followed this guide and transferred the contents of my Sony memory card to the micro SD, its around 18gb in size. However every time I put the micro sd back in the vita it shows that the used space is already 50gb, checked the content manager and saw that 32gb was allocated to system use.

Already tried rebuilding the database as suggested by others who have similar issues but on their official sony memory card and not on the psvsd.

How can I fix this? I'm going nuts over this, already tried the steps multiple times but still the same result. By the way the micro sd shows 18gb used when checked on windows, but when booted as ux0 it will show 50gb used both on the content manage and vita shell, even if I place it back to uma0 its the same.

Hope someone can help me, tia!

So when I turned my vita on today, I had to rebuild the databse and I lost access to all of my homebrew apps (inc molecular and vitashell) and it was a pain in the neck getting them back. Eventually I was able to get them back and get my sd2vita working again but I need this to not happen again. Does anybody know why it did this? I didn't take the sd2vita adaptor out.

Is the the Vita thing already dead? No one on the forums seems able to help.

Anyway, managed to solve my problem, found the solution on reddit, if anyone have a similar problem just format your micro sd with 64kb allocation size. Seems micro sd more than 200gb have this problems on the vita showing incorrect usage.

Yeah, well I love this -
I get a Game and the Folder shows -
Size 716MB
Size on Disk - 728MB
I move it to my Vita -
Size 716MB
Size on Disk 1.94GB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: Made sure to Uncheck the "Hide Protected Operating System Files" in Folder Options, then I put EVERYTHING on my PC. On my Vita, I only had 1.5GB remaining. Now after Formatting and making sure to have only 64kb Allocation Size, I have 11.1GB left on my PSVSD :D . MUCH happier now.

Just still need to know if there are any Issues with the 400GB Card, or if it will work perfectly.

Those with the PSVSD - When you Upgrade your MicroSD/TF Cards, be sure to Load up ALL your Games, and check any and ALL Media Files. I had Video Files in Folders, but now......not anymore for some reason. Will only show up when showing All Video Files, not in the Folders.
Also, 64kb Allocation Size might make some Games like Pinball Arcade run a little slower. Took a minute or 2 to get to the Main Screen, and even Pausing took a couple of Seconds. But at least all the Images and Audio in Games wont be wasting space.

Also, can confirm the 400GB Cards will work. Just make sure you show ALL FILES - Including Hidden System Files so it will Transfer EVERYTHING to the new Card

Does this program work for settings things up ?
I was thinking at mounting SD2Vita as uma0 and setting pkgj to download vita stuff there . For psx and ps1 it would still use ux0 .

Is this a good setup , would it work ? I want to keep things simple .

Does anyone else having issues with the sd2vita not being read by the vita system? I mean I can see the card but when I enter it there's no content and I have to restart the vita first.

i think it already in SD2Vita, all you need after copied content from main card to sd2vita is put the 2 files *.spkrs to ur0:/tai and add the 2 lines commands in the config file follow the tutorial from here, also make sure you buy the good memory SD card because if you have the fake one it won't work, for sure just buy 1 from Bestbuy so you won't get it wrong.

I put those lines already, it just that when my vita is idle the card will be disconnected and I have to restart to make it appear again.

I can't leave my micro sd without name label, automatically put "sdxc" as name even leaving empy the name area before formatting, I use genuine Sandisk 128gb, by the way is in exfat from factory.
Is not compatible?

Edit: solved and working

Guys, I need your help as I screwed big time.
I was following a youtube guide to install SD2Vita - fromat my micro sd, backup of my ux0 and then used this TF card plugin vpk.
Now the guide was actually to mount the SD2vita as um0 yet I pressed the button to go as ux0 and here is the problem, as my sd is empty, so is now my psvita, I do not even have vita shell anymore, how can I connect it to my pc? Can I reverse it somehow?
What if I move via pc on the sd the backup? Would that work?

EDIT - all seems to be working after copying manually the back up on the sd. Yet I skipped all the passages such as the kernel writing, I wonder if that is normal and if it causes any issues.
I put adrenaline on the uma0 now just wondering how to clean it from all the previous files that I add? Any help?

I must be brain dead. Unless I hold L, it loads my sd2vita and can't see the internal memory AT ALL and don't have access to molecular/vitashell therefore dead in the water. When I do hold L everything is there but it can't see my sd2vita card. How does this work for everyone but me?!

I'm sorry if I sound foolish but I've been at this for days and no tut fixes anything. I, again, restarted
and have only a couple of games left from before I started this visible. Nothing from the internal
Memory is visible. The SD works, the adapter works but the instructions do not help me. Maybe
my vita is unique but I doubt that. So, why is this happening?

Wait, how the f do you install ANYTHING without using molecular or vitashell. Seriously, every tut has only ever used those to install homebrew so how do THEY get installed outside the initial hacking set up?!?!

Hey Pegasus, I was in the same boat and have had to reverse a step to get back where I was. Hold L to gain access to Vitashell and change your GCD and MCD in the config back to original. Reboot and it should be back to where it was before you attempted to install SD2Vita.

Unfortunately I'm still stuck on the actual installation part of the tut and haven't been able to get passed this point at all no matter what I try. If anyone has any ideas, now would be an excellent time to respond.

One final question, do I require a Sony Memory Card as well as the SD2Vita? All I'm trying to do is run my apps/games/homebrew off of the SD2Vita and the guide has absolutely no troubleshooting tips for when you run into a wall.
