Gaming Removing legit game cart update

Hey guys,

Did a quick search and couldn't find a solid answer.

Basicly I want to remove mario oddessy's game updates so i can do the jump rope glitch to get the moon. Its a legit game cart on a modded system.

My question is, if i remove the game update in system management will it still let me play with out demanding a update, and will my saves still work with the game.

The only way to run the game without the latest update that your console knows about, is to do "reset required version" in devmenu. Currently devmenu isn't useable on 6.x. I don't know if your save will work on the older game version, it depends on the game's coding, but I wouldn't count on it - back up your save at least if you're going to try.

Still running 5.0.2, was hoping a legit cart wouldnt force update me if i removed updates.

Guess ill keep pulling my hair trying to do it legit im sure the satisfaction if i get the moon will be worth it.

Double-tap the jump button, so you get consistent jump height/rhythm, is the most important tip I can remember.

100 jump ropes is EZ, got it on my 2nd or 3rd try iirc.
Just need to tap as light as possible
