ok, you are right, it will not work with my program becouse the formatting is different to the EU/US one, i will see if I can make compatible with the JP version
Just a suggestion, the name for the rom and folders can be anything you want. To prevent accidentally using a product ID that's used by a future game that gets added I would change the prefix for games added in with this tool. Example, instead of using CLV-H-***** use something like HAC-K-*****. It can also make it easier to have the tool list all the games currently added in.
Also, I don't see any mention of the language file or a description field? Does that also get altered to add in the game's description for the details screen?
Awesome tool, would be nice if there would be something like to add multiple files at once.. example "my-favorite-games-folder" and "my-favorite-games-folder-pictures" .. and the rest something like default.
But nevertheless, awesome
I can change it to HLV-C. I think 7962624 combination options should be enough If you want to know which games already exist, just open the lclassics.titlesdb with Notepad ++.
Description will not be possible with my program, all other data from NES ONLINE are written in "LUA"
But its checked every time, if the game code already exists
--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------
It is possible, but then you would always have the same cover, the same data and so on. That would not be nice.
Ah, well if you need help adding descriptions just let me know. It's just a matter of adding an entry to a text file.I can change it to HLV-C. I think 7962624 combination options should be enough If you want to know which games already exist, just open the lclassics.titlesdb with Notepad ++.

Give it time, someone's already planning to rewrite the conversion code. It's really sad seeing how dependant people are on the SDK when it comes to graphics in this scene.

Your tool is nice, dont give a fuck what others say, i would be happy if i would be able to code something like that
I wasn't criticizing this tool in particular but the whole scene.I only code programs for 3 weeks and this is only my second program that I have written,
Hmm, I'd be impressed if anyone makes an XTX converter.Give it time, someone's already planning to rewrite the conversion code.
I know, i used your tools a lot of time, without her, I would never have been able to change the icons,I wasn't criticizing this tool in particular but the whole scene.

This scene is the laziest I have been in when it comes to graphics; no one made tools for BNTX and XTX except for me, even though those two formats are widely used.
People overly rely on the SDK.
This tool is awesome. Thanks for being the first person to create something like it. I appreciate the quick updates. I was having some issues and errors last night, but everything is working for me now in 2.8.0
One small issue: you've got your fields for boxart/screenshot mixed up. 400x300 should be the image for the screenshot that appears when you press X to view more info. 355x512 is the 2D boxart that appears in the menu. Those fields are currently swapped.
You might want to change it to "Cover Path 355x512" (which should feed to "cover") and "Screenshot Path 400x300" (which should feed to "details_screen")
Thanks! I just needed to add a handful of games I wanted, so this is a great tool. I already had all my art converted to TGA so I'm in good shape.
