Hi need some help.
Everythings works fine for me except Hollow Knight. When try to start Hollow Knight i see the Switch Logo for a second and get an error "The Software was closed because an Error occurred". Tried some other games they all work.
I use SX OS 1.3
Im on FW 5.0.2

Got it working seems that i had a broken ticket saved in my switch partition and had to delete it, Hollow Knight boot fine now.

I downloaded many titles, using older version of CDNSP, new version, without titlekey, with uppercase titlekey, lowercase titlekey, absolutely nothing works.
Older version made .nsp that were unable to install (error at devmenu at 100%), new version makes installable .nsp but installed game won't start and gives error.

Games dumped by everyone else (BBB, iND, other sources) install and work great.
So is there something wrong with this tool, or am I doing something wrong? :/

Everything I've downloaded and tested so far works fine on my end. I discovered early on it will not install if you don't use the TitleKey. Everything should be in lowercase when inputting it in. There was the updated script but also an updated certificate released along with it. Did you get that with the new script version?

Yes, I did. All right, I'll have to look into this once again. Thanks.

Edit:
Was the old version one that needed double backslashes, or the one that uses relative path?

Edit 2:
Oh, also, I noticed when game title contains special characters (Like (R) ot (TM)) script does not work properly.
Because the version that names folder by title instead of TID is the newer one, right?

Edit 3:
If downloading updates require -65536 but it doesn't download the newest one with -0, it means I don't have the newest version of CDNSP, right?

Edit 4:
Config.json is set to US, I'm using US TID database, but I'm using EU Switch. Maybe this is an issue?

Edit 5:
Okay, I give up. If anyone could send me working version, please! :/

Glad to hear you got it working! How did you go about deleting the broken ticket? Did you use dev menu?

Just noticed that “Venom” group started uploading eshop dumps to torrent sites. Perfect. Downloading RE Revelations 2 which will probably be installing all night as it’s almost 24GB and will require nearly 50GB of fee space to install.

cdnsp downloading from nintendo servers is a lot better than waiting for scene releases

Yeah you are right but I can’t be bothered setting it all up.

So would using another console's cert work? Or do you gotta use your own?
Yeah it does work and people are using certs floating around the web.

Game updates example
Lets say the Title ID (TID) is 0123456789 and the Title Key (TIK) 9876543210.
Run CMD and Type this

CDNSP.py -i 0123456789

You'll get the Name of the Game, Size, Base TID, Update TID and available update version.
Your new TID should now look like this 0123456800 (last three digits get replaced with 800). And lets say the version of the update is v12345.
Now u have to type this

CDNSP.py -r -g 0123456800-12345-9876543210

press Enter and it should download the Update as an NSP file.
I found most updates need a specific titlekey, different to that of the base game.
You may be implying that but I wasn’t sure.
Otherwise it may download and install fine but I found cases where using the same titlekey as base for an update would cause the game to freeze after showing the switch joycon animation when trying to run it.
Some work like this though like Super meat boy. Same tik for both, no issue.
