Hardware switch error 2181-4008

can you unlink parentol settings without internet connection?

got this error 2181-4008 when going into settings and passing parentol settings...it always crashes. ive got banned, contacted Nintendo and they said i was. personally i dont really care about it not playing online or use the services.
Now because parentol settings is active and going into the menu its retreiving data for it then this crash happens, its impossible to unlink it because you need online service lolz. so i explained nintendo (replied to their first anwser) but im not getting anwser for 2 days now.

got banned because of not clearing logs and using dev menu probably.


anyone got this problem too? maybe someone has an idea how to fix this....Nintendo doesnt care it seems. give me a ban + a 100% crippled crashing settings menu...

About the ban, you're shit outta luck. If..I'm reading this correctly..?

Edit: Oh wait, I didn't read the part where you crash while trying to get to parent settings. Err, someone else might be able to help with that..

This doesn't work ?
  1. Select “System Settings” on the HOME Menu.
  2. Scroll down to highlight “Parental Controls,” then select “Change Settings.”
  3. Enter the Parental Control PIN number for the system. ...
  4. Select "Change Settings."
  5. Select each setting that you want to adjust

no this wont help me out, just when i enter these settings it crashes (its retreiving data/refreshing) the parentol settings then it crashes right away, happens every time i go there so cant change settings..
seems a other error number on the link you send. i cant place links here but look me up at YT on JOS_010_NL got a short video of the problem im having

yeah good idea but i bought some games via the nintendo website as the eshop on switch doesnt allow me anymore. if i reset my switch i cant get those games back on my switch, redownload can be done by eshop only.

yeah i know but when i do it still crashes when im in settings, really need flight mode on then its not crashing...so yeah live with but its still a stupid flaw though...its not only a ban what Nintendo did

i got the same issue, i guess a factory reset would solve it but i have no other solution i've found.

there should be a disclaimer - before you hack your switch, turn off parental controls

EDIT: looks like you can delete the switch from your parental control app!! just log in to the app and remove it. its hidden kinda deep in the apps menu though - i think it was a like a little box with a plus icon inside, then you can click the info button on the switch and then unlink.

What will a factor reset do to the cfw? My switch keeps crashing in settings too, but I am hesitant to do a factory reset, what will happen? Will i need to reinstall CF? Ty.
