So, I recently got an acekard from a friends which was working great, and it was functioning properly. But, my sister tried to update my DSi's system, and then the Acekard stopped working. When I put the cartridge in, it still shows "Danny Phantom", but once I click on it, it says there is an error. I have tried inserting paper, but to no avail. I also tried to update the cartridge for 1.4 using an old DS Lite, but although the update is fine, it has no effect on what happens on the DSi. I have also tried to reset the DSi, but that also did nothing. Could someone help me figure out what I need to do?

You just need to update the flashcart firmware, the Acekard 2i has support all the way up to DSi firmware version 1.4.4X (unfortunately there was never an update to support the latest 1.4.5X/1.4.6c updates).

Here is the firmware you need for version 1.4:

Here is also a version for 1.4.1 (personally I would update with this firmware instead to stay ahead of the consoles firmware):

Here is the latest one for 1.4.4X and an older version for the 3DS, though this one makes booting up the flashcart slower than previous versions:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/aiqej4bovhmbi2g/ak2ifw_update_dsi-v1.44_3ds-v4.3.7z?dl=0

Here is the latest kernel version for the Acekard 2i, AKAIO v1.9.0:

Alternatively you can upgrade to 1.4.5X then downgrade back down to 1.4X with the flashcart block list removed so you can actually use certain outdated flashcarts on it. Here is a guide for this process:

HiyaCFW also unblocks flashcards on any system version, and can be easily installed if you have flipnote. See the thread in emulation/homebrew for info on installing. Still if this is only 1.4, flashing the card should solve it...

I updated my flashcart on a DS Lite to 1.4.1, and it now displays as "ALEX RIDER STORMBREAKER", but still doesn't work on the DSi.

So, since I am new to the Acekard community, I have no idea what to do with the NTRLauncher once I download it. Could you maybe explain to make it easier for me?

NTRLauncher installs straight to your DSi's menu. By running it, it will run the Acekard.
I downloaded on a PC system, and I can't figure a way to transfer it using a SD card. When I try to access the file on DSi Internet, there's a network problem, which only appears when I'm on a site that has the download. Could you please explain how to download the file?

You don't need the DSi Internet... Just click on the file attached, and copy the title folder on the root of your DSi's SD Card.
Ok, so I downloaded the NTRLauncher file, and extracted it to a blank SD card. However, when I inserted the SD card into the DSi, nothing shows up. Could you please elaborate on things I might've missed?
