Hi,

I hope you can help. I'm new to this having only hacked once before using a different method. I'm trying to get boot9strap working on my new 3ds xl. I got homebrew launcher working Ok, then ran udsploit. The guide I am following then said to run safehax, however this was not showing just another copy of seemingly the same udsploit file. I double checked the files and recopied them. Then safehax was showing, but when I try to run it and it says [!] PM IN IT FAILED! I checked and wireless is on and I tried downloading r16 version of safehax and still no joy. Now udsploit has a question mark and says i/o error could not open the file sdmc/3ds/udsploit.3dsx. I have tried redownloading this and overwriting the file on the sd card. Any idea how I can proceed?

Regards

Jeff

Your SD card sounds faulty. Test it and/or try a different one.

Thank you both for your replies. I deleted everything off the memory card and then downloaded the files on my phone and copied them across and it worked like a charm. When I was using my computer the sd card kept unmounting (dodgy sd adapter maybe, tho it was Samsung, bought using amazon prime) it seemed like the files copied across ok (the file size etc was as it should have been), but there must have been something wrong with the files.

Anyway, it's all working nicely, thank you for your time. :-)

Jeff

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
