So I am having problems with YSMenu 7.05RGF and Golden Sun - Dark Dawn (5387 - Golden Sun - Dark Dawn (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It)) - CRC32 C92C3E10
It's the only game I have issues with, it usualy freezes at a black screen right after the "camelot" screen with the title screen music playing in the background. It'll rarely go to the title screen and i'v gotten to the name entry screen once or twice.
I am trying two different flash cards (R4i SDCH 3DS RTS from r4i-sdhc.com and R4 SDHC Dual Core 2018 from r4isdhc.com) and I also tried various different microSD cards, Transcend, SanDisk, Kingston, usually class 4, a few class 6, even a U1, I tried reformating using the panasonic SD formater multiple times but still, the game does not for the life of me want to start.
I also tried running it without DMA or Reset, also tried enabling the anti piracy bypass option, but without success.
THis is the only title giving me problems, that I could find. Does someone have any ideas?
EDIT: Looks like I'll have to go back to the official kernels of these cards, the game works perfectly fine on their official kernels 1.84 and 3.9 respectively. - I also noticed that some other games with AP also work flakey on YSMenu, even with the AP patch cheats enabled.
EDIT2: Indeed, I seem to have issues with games that contain AP. Pokemon Black2/White2 sometimes freeze when getting to the screen for entering your name. Everything works fine on the official Kernels of the cards, though.

I'm having exactly the same problen as you with my R4iSDHC Gold Pro. Haven't tried official kernels though.
Hello, would it be possible for a r4i-sdhc card to make a PRIMARY Kernel version of Ysmenu?. I have discovered recently that card has a timebomb that will make it unusable unless you change date in the console. And I have asked r4i-sdhc team to correct the problem with a new kernel with no answer.

Also reporting that Golden Sun Dark Dawn blackscreens after Camelot logo. Have tried US and EU, same problem. Still looking around for patches or cheats that fix it.
I'm not having any problems with Pokemon BW or BW2(no exp. issues or freezing), nor Chrono Trigger(milennial fair portal works). And I know those have AP. It seems only Golden Sun is failing. Btw card is R4i RTS WiFi(r4i-sdhc).
Chrono trigger also works fine for me, but the pokemon b/w b2/w2 games freeze for me when I get asked for my name. The introduction scene were the professor introduces pokemon runs slower on ysmenu compared to the official kernel.
AP patches exist for BW and BW2 but Golden Sun DD appears to have exclusively been patched on the flashcart side. No one ever ported a flashcart patch to be used standalone on the ROM itself and all flashcart and emulator makers just silently and closedly patched it on their own side.
Yes, the issue also arises with the English versions of the game. Just to be clear, this happens only in ysmenu on these three cards, the respective original kernels work fine. Enabling or disabling AP patches doesn't help, unfortunately.

I am at a loss because I have the leftmost cart and am not getting issues. I wonder if my ROMs are pre-patched. I simply copied them from when I first got them way back on release...
I got the r4i3d new that is in the .dat folder section ( i know it is old ) can someone tell which ttmenu and from where i use for it and if it shows black loading screen what do i have to do?

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
