Hacking Extracting .RAP Files?

hey guys, sorry if there's a thread about this already, Don't see one myself.... Anyway, is there a Tutorial on Extracting your own .RAP files from your PS3? There must be a way, otherwise there would not be any .Rap files out there on the web. If there's a thread about this (or a tut) I'd appreciate a link or two. thanks in advance.

We can't give links, but there is a certain place you can easily find on Reddit that talks about PS3 RAPs. In fact you might find information if you looked for some information about Vita games too. But we can't give links to those locations.

I will say that you have to get the IDPS from your PS3, your act.dat, and rif files on the same account on your ps3, then run them through some program to create a rap. But you'd have to do that all on your own, searching for the information and what software will help. I guarantee you will find information if you were to use google.

thanks. been googling for two hours, haven't found anything much, which is why I posted here. I probably should've been clearer and said I know I need my IDPS, RIF and ACt.DAT, but other than that I have no idea. Basically, I know what I need but not how to get or use them/ methods to take. I'll see what I can do though, Thanks!

Get your IDPS (you can read it in Webman settings, PSNPatch, ...) and write it into a hex editor, save as "idps"

Download act.dat and rifs from /dev_hdd0/home/{userid}/exdata

Open all that stuff with RIFConv

ReActPSN also has a button to automatically save raps to dev_usb000... but I never tried
