There's 836 moons in the game, and in shops you can buy infinite copies of the "shopping in [x]" moons which add to the total on the Odyssey's sail, maximum 999
So you mean 836 power moon "quest" and 163 moon buyable from stores. Is that right?

I think I topped out at 39 but I did learn a cool trick recently not sure if it will work with jump rope (which I thought was great!). In 2 player mode you can actually use cappy to keep your jump going with help of a second player. Wonder if that's the secret...

Do you know how many power moon there are? Including all realm?
I saw a twitch of a guy who had over 650moons and he hasnt finished yet

Yup, it's over 800. Even still, i recognized that this would be the moon that would give me the most trouble, and it definitely has been so far (i have nearly 500 moons at this point), i probably spent about 3 full hours trying to get over 100 on this damn jump rope, before finally getting it. Nothing else has taken even a fraction of that amount of time, even 100 in volleyball was super simple and i got it on my second try.

Yup, it's over 800 (at the the though i only thought it was like 400 so my prediction in that regard was wrong) . 94. I got the moon thanks to a friends who saw me raging on it, said "Can I try ?" (he never touched the game before) and got it at first try. I was like "wtf ?". He made 101 before stopping. But for my personnal score, it was 94. I actually hate as fuck that moon :<

Actually, they made use of a glitch where Mario would float in mid-air. Then they'd place him right above the moving ropes and the counter will start counting up. You can look it up on youtube.

Just abused the parrot bug and got 99999 ;-) its actually easier to pull of then legitimatly getting 100

Easier and less fun! :D everything you want in a game.

Really does suck since it's flooding the Leaderboards, I actually enjoyed the Leaderboards, not much to hardcore beat the people at the top, but still a welcome addition, until now ~_~

Did two tries first one was the 30 jumps second was 50+ and decided to quit even though I knew 100 jumps nets me a moon. Great game but I'm not going to be a completionist for this game lol

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

Waiting for Anbernic's rg[whatever]SP price announcement, gimme.

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

  • Veho @ Veho:
This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
