I know using a class 10 Sd card helps, and I had a fun time with HWL, even though the version i got was modified to be better with o3Ds apparently (does someone know the name of what I'm talking about here?).

But with FE Warriors in the horizon, I'm wondering what else can i do to make the experience better. Buying an updated 3ds is not an option at this time... too expensive (especially in Brazil) for too few games (I have XC on the Wii).

I've seen that the N3DS has an option to "overclock". and i wonder if such a thing is possible/reasonable...

(note: I'm a noob... don't throw too many fancy terms at once. It wasn't me who prepped up the 3DS to work with luma and such, the only thing i've ever doen with it besides games is to update Luma to the newest version.)

Hopefully you don't get too many nasty responses.

No you can't overclock an old 3DS. The only reason we can 'overclock' the new 3DS is because it actually has slightly more powerful hardware that it's not always using to the full extent.

Hyrule Warriors Legends is actually not a n3DS-only game, which is why it works on your o3DS.
Fire Emblem Warriors however is, so it can't be played on an o3DS at all.

I simply can't help with location difficulties in regards to upgrading.

But to the OP, there's a lot of factors holding the old3DS back. First isn't just the slower CPU, but also the fact that it's a dual-core CPU. The new3DS has a faster quad-core on top of other upgraded parts. It won't even be enough to overclock the system, you still need to account for the 2 missing cores.
Basically unless you can buy a new3DS, you are just out of luck. There's nothing we can do to make up for the hardware differences
