Word of note to anyone installing the game on a non-Japanese 3DS: I haven't successfully gotten the game to launch, even with importing the seed and using LumaLocaleSwitcher to change the game's region to Japanese. The game run perfectly fine on my Japanese 3DS however so it's a regional 3DS issue. The game crashes on the start up screen and refuses to go past that point.

If anyone has any tips, feel free to give them.

You need to load the game with jap region or it brakes the save. Erase the save and start the game again.

I can't get to the point to even save the game. :/ I've already started the game with the Japanese region. It doesn't really matter as I have a Japanese 3DS to play it on. :P

When you started the game on your non jap 3ds it instantly broke the save. Erase the save and only play the game with jap region emulation.

You guys can download the entire game on that title key's website by searching the japanese name and choosing decrypted. You don't even need a seed. Just use FBI and QR code.

I confirm that it works if you change your locale (but now I wonder what happens if I softreset the game with L + R + Start, since when I do it on other games their locale turn back to the console's locale until I launch it again from Home Menu).

I have to say that I was expecting less, both from FPS and gameplay, but it seems nice. Quick question: since my japanese skills are pretty poor I couldn't figure out (nor translate) something. When you select the character then you have to select Easy, Normal or Hard, then if you want to play on Casual or Classic, but at last appeared two other things to select with various text. What's that supposed to change?

Did you use the extra Luma download 'local switcher' to change the region and language? the first time i tried and old luma built in one, and it didn't work for some reason. Other than that, and erasing the save file, I don't think there's anything more to it.. you did get the decrypted version right?

I believe I do have the decrypted ver cause I did get it from that site the game starts up anna text box shows then tries saving and crashes what do you mean exactly by "extra Luma download 'local switcher'" just to make sure im not using something completely wrong or whatever.

I just went and installed this app by possum. It's basically an extension of luma.

https://github.com/Possum/LumaLocaleSwitcher/releases

You can just install the CIA with title manager or FBI.

Good thing is, it contains multi language (japanese, english, french, spanish, portuguese etc.), sad thing is, we can't use it. I already tried overwriting the japanese language in the LINKDATA.bin and it doesn't work. After the 3DS logo, the game crashes...

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze

    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.
  • Veho @ Veho:
There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
