So the story goes, my first 7th gen console I got was my Xbox 360. It was a great system... till I got my Playstation 3. Now what I did is I bought all my games from the Xbox over too the PlayStation (Mainly so I didnt have to plug in the other system everytime I wanted to play a game on the other console,and incase the Xbox 360 red ringed, I could still play all my games fine.)But I wanted to transfer my saves over too. so I looked up as much info as I could about my predicament. I figured out a basic way, which was to get bruteforce save manager (for PS3 Saves) and Horizon (for Xbox 360 Saves). Now what I did was decrypt the saves for Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 on bruteforce, and extracted the savedata.bin for Horizon. I renamed the savefile.bin for Sonic Adventure 1 to "SONIC" as it was the name of the ps3 save file. I removed the .bin off the file so it was no longer a bin file but just a file so the ps3 can read it. All I did afterwards was swap the saves around. For Sonic Adventure 1, everything worked fine my completed save Sonic Adventure 1 on xbox is back, but Sonic Adventure 2 is a totally different story. Thankfully, I never swapped out my chao save because I brought that from my gamecube with my tails chao and that worked completely fine. The Sonic Adventure 2 story save file is giving me issues though it keeps saying that its corrupted and can't properly load and offers me to delete it. Now I didnt back up my previous save but I didnt get to far on my ps3 save (the first Tails level) so im not all that upset bout it. The process worked completely fine for Sonic Adventure so why not Sonic Adventure 2? There is NO tutorial from to my knowledge about how to transfer Sonic Adventure 2 specifically from xbox to ps3. Only things I found in my search was Chao Editor Redux, a Chao save modifier that is discontinued (As of when I posted this), and a tutorial on guess what. The exact same tutorial for how to transfer my Sonic Adventure 2 GameCube chao save data to xbox/ps3 the one I used. Anyway I searched for who knows how long if anyone else had this issue but I never found anything. if anyone can lead me to a guide or tell me if I'm doing something wrong because my Sonic Adventure save works completely fine no issues I even have all the achivements from the Xbox 360 now in trophy form on my PlayStation 3.
