Having some doubts but still lookking forward to this.

What doubts do you have? You can see their progress right on their site. It's not like they are doing it secretly. And opening it up to the entire community is part of the reason that the project is going as quickly as it is. The only doubt I have is in understanding how they exactly plan to implement the patch itself.

I sound terrible but it is still taking a while but the last few parts to be translated are the bigger files. I personally dont know japanese well and unfotunately cant help. Noticed a few errors in it though like some translations which still include some jap or the 'insert translation here' bit. Hopefully the patch can run the saved games already done, because ive completed JUS and im slowly getting everything on it so i'd personally not like to restart over lol. Cant wait till the eng patch comes out though, i'll be battling 24/7 on wifi. Dont see many people playing the wifi at the mo though, hopefully loads of people will when its in english.

In my initial testing (and the test/demo I dropped several pages back) I used a save from dualscene so your old save should still work.

@jesterscourt: the game uses a known/well used character set (shiftJIS: not that it really matters), odd but still workable pointers and courtesy of the fact you can rip apart a DS rom and put it back together you essentially have unlimited space.

Update: Finally added the link to GBATemp to the homepage (sorry that it took me so long but I'll repeat it again: I've been busy. Anyway, I expect more and more translators start using this thread and comment about their progress, wich parts they're finding more troublesome, ask to be upgraded to correctors, etc...

@p1noypr1de: If you read this, you said in the past you were having problems with the consistency in some files. Could you explain some further? Thanks.

Also, thanks to all the translators for doing such a great job. You guys just check out our progress so far at crisistunity.com/justp/

Is it possible we get a beta patch?

I don't care about the dialog personally, I just want the menu translated.

beautifulbeast is the one to be speaking to about the web app, 40 lines should have knocked the percentage up 4.5% or so though.

Oh and welcome onboard, that is the one file I was dreading.

@Mieki I am happy to discuss the tools/methods I am using if you want but there is only one small patch released at this time and was pretty much only done to see if peoples carts can take it (answer most DS slot carts can not it seems).
The final patch will initially be in xdelta format (think IPS but far better for this sort of thing), I ran through the possibilities a few pages back as well

I'm still sticking to what I said a month ago.

I think you should just release a beta along with a message that you're still looking for more help to get the project finished, if you don't this is never going to be finished....

CyborgMatt, you can say what you want (and for the record I agree with you) but the translation team isn't doing that, so your (and my opinion) on the matter doesn't really matter.

Let us hope that they release a beta of the patch itself before the actual cleanup begins, because that could take months in of itself. Here's looking to you, October! And btw, they are making progress, I check those bars every few days or so, and slowly but steadily they increase.
