Hacking Problem after downgrading (plailect tutorial)

Hi everyone, i was following the plailect tutorial to downgrade my N3ds, and everything went well.. runing the homebrew launcher, making the downgrade, etc... no error whatsoever.
I now have 9.2.0-20E installed on the N3ds..but when i tried to run the homebrew launcher pressing the "direccional down" and no can do... well, i guess that somehow in some part i messed up with the messages and i´ve changed the theme by mistake, so the exploit said goodbye...
...well, what can i do to "regain" the exploit?

No worries, you should have everything you need on the sd card already from the starter zip so just try go to that website in your browser and see if the homebrew launcher opens.

Now after instaling everything i have version Sys 9.2.0-20E so i´m ready to go

But now after instaling the freeshop i´m having a little problem with some games...the error indicates that i need at least the version 9.6 or later to install the game... ... ...well...if i update my firmware can i loose the hack? Do you know how can i do it?

If you've done all the steps in the guide and installed Luma and A9LH, you're free to update to the latest version. :yay3ds:

So, and not wanting to be a pain in the neck... i just need to go to system and update the console? (I`m sorry if it`s a lame question but i`m a rookie at this 3ds things and i rather make stupid questions than stupid miistakes)

Thanks for your reply f10, but i already did step by step the plailect tutorial...now i just want to upgrade my system version so i can download and play some of the freeshop games... ....my doubt is how to make that system upgrade without brick danger or loose my hack...! :wacko:

Did you do it to the very last step? Like did you have a step where you had to hold select? Did that pop-up anything? If it did, you have A9LH and are free to update.

Hi DavidRO99, thanks for your reply...i guess when you mean the pop-up thing and select you're refering to Luma3ds config, right? If so i made that step also!!
My only doubt is if there's a correct way of updating the system...i don't want to update to a brick status...if i do that..well...it's better for me to start my dodge the bullet practice because my girlfriend will kill me :rofl2:

Yes, a normal system update,

Yup as everyone said now you have A9LH installed youre safe to do the Nintendo system update to bring you up to date.

(Simply the area on your 3ds where the hack lives is write protected so Nintendos updates can't touch it mate)

Once all done I'd also make a fresh nand backup and a copy of your sd card for peace of mind.
